The true successor to Ferguson is here. Finally it feels like the true United again.

Incredible job he's doing and really gets the club.

I just hope whatever happens we can back him this summer and launch an attack on the league and CL. Pile on the debt if we have to, ETH is the man.

All the years we wasted BIG money on players like Pogba, Zlatan, Di Maria, Falcao, Sanchez, Ronaldo. Imagine all that funding behind this manager.

Agree with all those names but not Zlatan, he was a leader and a winner. Wish we had got him sooner and enjoyed him for longer, top top player!

My 2nd favorite bit of post match celebrations.

stuff like this is just top tier management.

Saying keep working hard, this will be yours to enjoy very soon.

So many managers wouldn't give 2 shits about the youth players in a moment like this.

ETH is just top tier.

The managing today was sheer brilliance. He has complete control over his tactics and the players are all 100% bought in to a man. The subbing off of Dalot was perfect, and his ability to shift tactics almost completely in the second half meant Newcastle could never settle into the game at all.

Just a masterclass in keeping your opponent off balance…which he has quietly been doing every match now for months. This is an incredibly sustainable form of managing brilliance. Couple that with his clearly positive relationships with the players and he’s about as perfect a manager as there is in football today…not just brilliant…but also having the traits for sustained brilliance.

Based on that managerial poll in the past, majority of the Cafties wanted EtH as new manager. Kudos to United executives to make it happened. Kudos to them on supporting EtH on Ronaldo's case and during emergency loans period (while being handcuffed by the owners).

We got him for such a short period though but yeah he was a fantastic player for us.

I hope we give this man what we wants in the summer. I mean we have wasted millions on trash for all the previous managers. Here is a guy who knows what is required unlike the previous ones and should not be left shorthanded.

Melissa Reddy just tweeted that Erik Ten Hag invited SAF into the dressing room to share the experience with the players. Great and humble move, bald guy keeps surprising me
He wears the United job so lightly. He just... fits. A United legend in the making, I think. Bigger challenges to come of course. The great United managers last a long time here, fingers crossed eh.

I am struggling to think of an example of such a sudden transformation of night into day (at least in football - the England cricket team has also gone very quickly from joke to serial winners under new management). I just hope he ETH gets the backing he deserves in the summer.

The club is unrecognisable from last season. The belief and passion that ETH has instilled back to the club and the fans in such a short time is unbelievable

Absolutely incredible what he has been able to do in just half a year. For the first time in a while it feels like the club are actually building something special.

I just hope the owners, whoever they might be come summer, support his vision with the money when it's needed.

It’s like we won the managerial lottery.
Fekk Pep and Kloppity. Thish guy has done it in his first year with extreme difficulties to overcome.
Imagine him starting next season with it all in front of him. With a squad that he has expanded upon.
This is just the beginning :)

Yep.
Short time frame.
Limited squad.
Limited budget?
Managed to turn AWB, Rashford, Shaw and even Fred to some degree into a monsters on the pitch.

If you asked me 2 years ago I'd say feck AWB, Rashford, Fred and Shaw. Sell them. Useless deadwood.

Now if these guys ^^^ start a game I feel we'll get a result.

Hope the sale of the club goes through soon so the new owners can give Ten Hag all he needs to push hard for big honors next season.
