Not on the bench today which is a shame, as we could do with his guile. Thought he was meant to be fit post intl break.
He was and he is. Two weeks from now or even in May is post intl break. EtH said on Friday that he'll be back in team training in the coming week or weeks.

We miss him desperately. I had enough of watching Fred/McTominay/Sabitzer trying to control the midfield without any understanding of how to set the tempo, therefore making us play Ole-like football. I'm sure Ten Hag thinks so as well.

Hopefully he's back soon playing alongside Casemiro, we miss both players.

Despite all his time out and the games hes missed, only three players have three more assists than him in the league. (KDB, Saka, and Trossard).
Only Odegaard (who has the same number of assists and has been a mainstay) has a better pass accuracy at 84% by 1%).

And thinking about it, we probably only got him because he was free despite him being our second most important midfielder. I find it hard to believe we would have signed him if we had to pay a transfer for him.

We need him back ASAP. Our midfield without Casemiro and Eriksen is like your neighbor's front lawn -- constantly getting mowed down.

When Him and Casemiro return we will be considerably stronger, missed watching him, brings a level of composure and creativity we badly miss at the moment

Sticking by prediction of Forest away for return, think Everton on Saturday is still too soon

Back in full team training, will likely get him and Casemiro back at the same time I'd guess

Fantastic news. We just need to navigate the next two home games. I don't care how we play as long as we get the points needed and open the gap on spurs, then we can look forward to actually having a functioning midfield

The blessing is the next time we play an away game we will have Casemiro and Eriksen both back and hopefully Martial would have played in 3 matches by then.

Away games is where we’ve been struggling.

Yeah hopefully they are all back and ready by the time we play Spurs and then Brighton away. We need to try and put a marker down for next season showing some improvement away from home

The sooner, the better. That said, we really should be able handle these clubs without Casemiro and Eriksen -- but that may not be the case.

We probably need him against Seville, run up the score so that we can game manage or park the bus on the return away leg. (we have to play cup semis against Brighton within 48hrs.)

”We will see [if Eriksen will come back at the weekend]. We see it from day to day.

"He is progressing. He is now back only this week in team training tomorrow [Thursday] and the day after tomorrow [Friday]. We have two sessions. After that, we will decide if he is back in the squad again."

Him training is a huge bonus for us. We really should navigate that Everton came without him and then having back for the next game even if it's the bench would be massive for us.

Him and Casemiro being back will alleviate a lot of problems we’ve had these past weeks. It won’t improve our ability to score goals but it will improve our ability to control games and create chances to score goals.

Them being fresh and fit for the business end of the season is huge.

On the bolded, it will improve our ability to create chances which by extension improve our goals numbers. Eriksen has 10 assists in ~2700 mins (30 full games) for us. Only player with more is Bruno with 11 but from 4410 mins (49 full games).
And Martial coming back should also hopefully improve our ability to finish.

Why wouldn't it improve our ability to score goals to have our best passer and set piece taker back? He totally transforms the way our midfield works and plays out from the back.

We should realistically be starting matches with Martial, Eriksen, and Casemiro all back in the next 2-3 weeks. 3 of our starting XI back into the fold. That's huge.

Can't wait. No team performs near as well without their starting 6,8 and 9

Until Casemiro’s next suspension and Martial’s next injury…

It should improve our attacking game too, Casemiro brings stability to the team. Eriksen plays lot of passes between the lines which helps us to create lot of chances.

Casemiro -Eriksen over this midfield would be awesome upgrade.

Even just the mental lift to the squad knowing he and Casemiro are back in the team soon is going to be massive. Hoping that pushes the supporting cast on Saturday, they will need to have the same kind of determination we had in the first half vs Brentford to get all 3pts vs Everton in their current state.

Good news he is back but i fear a few of you are doing the usual trick of building our players up whilst they are out injured. Eriksen is a great passer but he is lightweight and bypassed easily. We've got quite an easy run in with teams that should suit him but he would not have done us much good against Newcastle and i'd rather keep Casemiro and Fred against the better midfields in the league.

I mean I don’t think it’s building him up to say he’s better technically than everyone else we have in the midfield.

Putting him back in our midfield isn't going to make the difference some think it is. That's Casemiro.
