Club Sale | It’s done!

I’m pretty sure people can understand it and still voice their displeasure.
It sounds like pointless whining when it gets repeated, ad nauseum, every page of the thread. And I say that as somebody who would 100% prefer a full sale to Jassim.

Still cannot fathom why they don't get it. If they are determined to stay, there is nothing anyone can do to force them out. So you need someone who is able to think outside the box.

Imagine Ratcliffe wasn't involved and it was just Qatar. They make the same offers as they have done but in the end, Joel and Avram Glazer decide not to sell and the deal falls through because Qatar refuse to budge on a full purchase.

Qatar walk away and buy Wigan Athletic, we remain under the ownership of the Glazers.

Nightmarish.
SJR has given the two holdout Glazers an option that otherwise was not available. The US investment funds would present a totally different option, one that would not be palatable other than to a distressed seller.

If the other four Glazers wanted to sell they would have applied pressure to ensure that they received top dollar and were not undermined by the holdouts. Now the holdouts have been given a new option.

I couldn’t care less what Ratcliff wants. Them staying in any capacity is a non-starter for me, and a lot of us will keep saying it whether anybody wants to hear it or not.
Are you actually hard of reading or what, did you just ignore the rest of my post? Seeing as you apparently have i’ll spell it out for you again because clearly you’re being very one track minded here.

Nobody wants the Glazers around, not a single person. Think for yourself for one moment and you’ll realise not even Ratcliffe wants the Glazers around, why would he?

You’re obviously not getting it you’re being very blinded by rage. The Glazers do not want to sell, maybe the siblings do but Joel and Avram clearly want to stick around and nobody can force them to sell if they do not want to, which they clearly do not want to do.

So then what? SJR is obviously appealing to their greed and vanity with what is 2 reported offers, the one of which lets them stay on as basic monetary shareholders for a few years. Would he want this? He’s spending 5 billion odd of course he doesn’t want this, but if Joel and Avram do not want to leave how else do you expect anyone to buy the club if the only other party is undervalueing even SJR’s valuation of the club?

I feel like im talking to a brick wall on this forum sometimes, a brick wall that is demanding Glazers undersell on their value of the club to Qatar because it’s what’s best for the club - not realising the Glazers don’t give two shits about it and will only take an offer that’s best for them only

Perfectly stated

That’s the other thing people forget - the presence of Ratcliffe/INEOS in the bidding process pushed the Qatari bids higher than they otherwise would’ve been (and thus closer to the Glazer’s valuation).

This is why the Glazers (or two of them) staying is a non-starter for me.

Even if Ratcliffe has the majority, they'll probably still want a stake and some kind of voice, even if not the final say.

Keeping the people that literally have brought the club to its knees should be a ln automatic non-starter for any United fan but apparently it's all good if Jimmy Brexit has control and the Glazer duo of cnuts get to stay.

As long as whoever takes over has 50+1 of the voting rights then anyone else with a stake has no say in how things are run.

The Glazers who want to keep hold of shares want to because they belive the shares will increase in value. Ironically because they belive that with proper investment the clubs value will increase significantly.

Some are letting their hatred of the Glazers cloud their judgement as to what's best for the club. In an ideal world we would end all association with them. In the real world having them keep some stock might be the only way to get them to to sell up. They would no longer have any say in how things are run and for all intents and purpose they would be gone.

I litterally just wrote minutes earlier that I understand this. Look who’s hard of reading

I even had a debate with Berbaclass in this very thread telling him that Joel and Avram wanted to stay when he was disagreeing with me. You can look it up. It’ll take less time than writing me a dissertation. If you don’t like to read people voicing their displeasure at the ownership situation then just put everyone you don’t like on ignore.

You cannot say nobody wants the Glazers around because there are still people in this thread who are Glazers apologist and being subtle about it.

Not sure if this has been posted?

They're in a 4 way battle with Lorient, Reims and Clermont foot for positions 8th to 11th. It's been a season of real mis-management on the football side of the club and I'm not surprised Dante is asking questions of INEOS.

Paul Mitchell also has failed to make his mark at Monaco, where they've failed to even finish in the Champions league places. So he's jumped before he can be pushed.

That's what the Qatari stans do. No logic, only agendas. I myself have explained this to many of them and have seen the exact same things perfectly explained on Twitter to the Qatari army dozens of times, all they come back with is "Glazers can't stay no matter what" and just continue on with their rambling about how "Ratcliffe wants to get in bed with the leeches" etc.

They don't WANT TO understand it, the sportswashed bellends.

Some people on the bird app getting bullish over something happening tomorrow…

Wouldn’t get my hopes up but it’s something.

Come on now. Ineos wouldn't run one football club like the run their other football club! Completely different things.

Biggest concern I have got with SJR is him bringing in his own backroom staff / board and totaly fecking up the mood at the club, it will be like the early post Fergie era all over again.

I wonder what would happen if you googled a French club and added the word protest at the end.

The fact he brought Brailsford with him to the club presentation was a major red flag. There’s also the fear he puts his clown brother in a position of power who hasn’t got a clue, as is evident in his running of Nice.

Ratcliffe's trust in Brailsford has created all the problems from what I've read. Brailsford's been making the decisions and the result is that they've had a very poor season.

Brailsford's decision to hire Iain Moody to sign players for Nice in the summer window of 2022, whilst keeping the head coach Favre in the dark about who they were signing and how they fit into Favre's play style, ultimately cost Favre his job. That's without going into Moody's history of being a racist and homophobe.

The latest news is that they're extending Ramsey's contract against the wishes of the Sporting director they hired from Lens.

You’re going to give yourself a nose bleed

Nah, just not the gotcha some think it is. As the article states, their form has fallen off a cliff since the end of February, they're unhappy about performances and the ownership.

It would be just like the Glazers to jeopardise our chances of progressing next season because of this process only for the whole thing to end up being a giant waste of time.

Had a go and did not disappoint.

I searched 6 clubs and 5 had protests in the past 2 seasons. That didn't include Nice

This is after all, a league where the fans of the most dominant side by an absolute mile, also felt the need to protest just the other week.

These 'experiments' of using successful people from one sport and applying them to another sport either go completely wrong or will take time due to trial and error.

We had an experiment with Woodward, an accountant, who ran all commercial and sporting decisions related to our strategy.

We cannot afford to hire seemingly intelligent people from one field and hope they work things out in another. ENOUGH!

City hired the best and got the best. Simple.

You are summarizing one of the reasons of why I think Qatar is preferable to SJR.

I’m seriously tired of $hitty dominance, and I seriously think the only way we can immediately compete and stop them is with Qatar money.

SJR is preferable to the leeches, but Jassim is preferable to Rattcliffe. His track record with Nice is something that scares me.

City hired Brian Marwood. And Marwood put in place the structures that still exist on the football side of the club at City. It's not difficult to have a well run football side imo.

Imagine we did the unthinkable and stopped City completing the treble. FA Cup winners. Avram Glazer in attendance, making his appearance well documented.

A month later, minority US investment deal announced with Joel and Avram leading the club without the rest of the Glazer siblings.

Outrage by United fans and even journalists (off the payroll), but limited to YouTube and social media due to the summer break.

New season approaches, big American bucks splashed on Harry Kane and a few less expensive EtH targets to displace fan outrage, thanks to new investment and Champions League money.

A season of ups and downs begins with neither of the big two trophies in our sights. Cue another 18 years of Glazer misrule and deceit...
