@charlton66 lebron is not coming to the Warriors haha

The only real move I can see, which is unrealistic because Masai is the Levy of the NBA, is giving the Raptors Kuminga and Poole for the expiring GTJ and OG. Will likely need to throw in the 19th pick and another FRP.

That wouldn’t work. Trent couldn’t be traded other than via sign & trade which would hard cap Warriors, impossible to accept with current payroll, and when Blazers made an inquiry about OG Raptors wanted Simons, Sharpe, no. 3 and more assets. That deal is nowhere near that.

I am assuming that Trent takes his one year player option extension in this scenario and tests the free agent market after a year at the Warriors.

I thought Masai wanted 4 FRPs or the equivalent of it for OG and that price will have to go down in the summer given their disastrous season and the contract length left.

Nah, Trent will not take his option. He can get a long term contract on similar or better money in free agency. Warriors would need to trade for OG alone and that'd probably be doable with Poole, Kuminga + 3-4 picks but Masai is like Levy of NBA, he won't let him go without a ridiculous price being offered. He's basically played hardball with all their players that were maybe looking for trades up until now. I don't think it's worthwhile doing business with Toronto, you are most likely getting fleeced. I have actually developed anxiety over possibility of Portland trading with Toronto this offseason, I think they can screw us out of all our assets for Siakam or OG and we will still suck.

Well no one is trading at that price for the 3rd or 4th best player of a lottery team and Masai will lose more players in free agency.

I think something will break this summer with the Raptors, their decision making since Kawhi leaving has been erratic but again Masai can be a Levy and shoot himself in the foot.

I will never understand their trade deadline this year. They had expiring Trent and VanVleet, multiple teams going after OG and Siakam, their team was clearly going nowhere and their move was to trade a first round pick (quite lightly protected too) for Poeltl and settle for mediocrity. They need to go into a rebuild and build foundations around Barnes.

People are still wondering about Weby actual height and if it's not exaggerated. He makes Gobert look like a power forward.

I'm not sure I'd want him there to be honest. It would definitely put me in a bit of a quandary. As a player, there is no doubt he is an all time great but beyond that I've never been a fan.

I agree with Perk, Celtic in 6 vs Denver, also agree with him regarding Tatum, he is way better & more great than Jokic, he was cooking so much, had to turn off rest of his take.

Can't wait to see what's going to happen tonight. Either Miami will carry on with their own feel-good story or they will become the biggest meme in the history of the NBA; there is no other way.

The 8th seed blowing a 3-0 lead to the 2nd seed/favourites won't be THAT big of a deal to be fair. Certainly not in a world where a 73-9 defending champions blew a 3-1 lead that more or less everyone still remembers.

I'm all for the Celtics winning, I don't see the Heat doing much to the Nuggets, but then again, they've been consistently written off for 4 years now... and both have had stellar runs deserving of a title but we all know good 3-4-5 year stretches don't always equal a title, so eh, it's a toss up. But I'm sticking with preferring the Celtics.

I don’t see Heat even coming close tonight. Should be a blowout win for the Celtics.

Game over. Can’t see Celtics comeback with injured Tatum and Brown playing terribly.

This has been painful watching so far. Just no movement at all from the Cs
Well it doesn’t help with Tatum is obviously injured from basically 1 min of the game and he is the main play maker. Heat playing decent. It’s been a poor game.

Yeah obviously not, but the ball can still move as well as the other 4 players on the court. Sick of seeing us just pull up and shoot a contested 3 after not even attempting to open up the defence.

Just shows that calling a game is so tricky. Most felt this is Celtics all the way. Who could have predicted an injury to their key player especially with g7 on the line.

Love to see the Celtics losing important games while being trash. Will be a long off-season for them.

Yeah. Really disappointing to see. Is this down to the other players alone or the coach?

Jokic, KCP, Murray, Gordon, MPJ and Brucy are about to sweep this team. No game will be under 10 point difference.
