Agree with this. You still have an extremely good midfield despite Rakitic stepping down, but you don’t have the Mandzukic & Perisic (the 2018 version of him) anymore. So we were expecting you to stop winning big games.
You have had the 2nd most consistent side in Europe since maybe 2017. But so far in this period, France has won 2 trophies, Portugal and Itlay won 1 each (Portugal gets 2 if we stretch back to 2016)… You certainly deserve one.
I believe many felt Belgium deserved one as well for their consistency, and they looked like winning the NL back in 2021, but France somehow chocked them in that semifinal…

I'm taking 4 kids to the England game on Monday evening at OT. My two kids have been to OT loads to watch United, but my missus two kids have never been to a live game before (and they're technically Welsh as they were born in Wrexham, although have English parents) and have about a 5 minute attention span, so it's going to be a long night for me (and potentally everyone sat around us)
