With Telles gone and Martial and Bailly strong rumours, Saudi are really doing us a favour this window.
Let's get a couple more confirmed shipped put before jinxing it.

Even if he did, so what? That's football. You're going to have fall outs and managers that don't like you in football. Happens for most players at some stage especially at the sharp end of football. The best thing you can do is outlast them which isn't hard as a player. The players you highlight show where the responsibility really is. Shaw took his game on and showed character and Martial did not.I thought Mourinho treated Martial and Shaw attrociously.
Not really playing much.Sort of a ridiculous post when he's playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
The Saudi operation is all about propaganda of taking players from footballing giants.
I mean do you think anyone is excited at a 33 year old Hendo?
I think we want to sign Hoijlund and another attacker/forward. Also after this season Martial is going to struggle to get a decent contract anywhere, I can see him taking the Saudi option.Like Martial I don't think this story/deal has any legs.
I think Saudi won't want to pay a transfer fee or very little and it leaves United even more short up front. Plus Martial is 27 not 32.

He played 29 games averaging 40 mins. With actually most of his minutes coming above the average coming in a small clump at the end of the season. Genuinely sad to see, but thee has been no evidence he is over his injuries, and even if he is , it has certainly affected how he plays.Who do we play striker for the 60 odd games next season? Martial still played 29 games last season despite all his injuries. Lack of striker depth cost us last season, and it’s mid-July and we’ve got nobody new in, I don’t see how Martial leaving on top is going to help things.

Thanks bud. Yeah I don’t think it’s news I’d have missed considering I am on the Caf every day.He hasn't.
It’s because of his ability that he’s survived this long. It’s his attitude and commitment that’s always been the issue.
If it's Martial vs no replacement though, I'd much rather the former. The problem is that he can't be trusted to stay fit, so we'll probably need to sign a second whether he stays or goes. If we manage to get Martial off the wage bill that will free up a considerable amount of money.
Ability you say, no. He survived this long because of this:It’s because of his ability that he’s survived this long. It’s his attitude and commitment that’s always been the issue.
The irony is that this was before his best season for us so him staying at the time turned out to be justified. He put up decent numbers in 19/20, then spent the majority of the next 3 seasons either injured or out of form.Ability you say, no. He survived this long because of this:
"Man Utd chairman to overrule Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Anthony Martial transfer demand
EXCLUSIVE Anthony Martial's Man Utd future has been decided after a disagreement between Solskjaer and Joel Glazer
Anthony Martial's Manchester United future is secure – because the forward is viewed as the club's "Pele" by co-chairman Joel Glazer.

I don't get the complaint with his standard level of form when fit. We have been consistently better when Martial play. The problem is his injury record and the obvious fact that he is very injury prone. Which also, obviously, makes him difficult to sell.No hesitation, even for a miserly fee. His wages are astronomical, and then you consider what we actually get for those wages….
Another player who has shown sparks and spells of being a world beater than could fix our problems. But it’s too few and far between, his injury record and standard level of form is appalling.
100% on board with shifting him and his wages, and getting a main forward and then a rotation option who isn’t on £300k a week.
Of course he saw Martial as Pele, he didnt even know who Pele was.Ability you say, no. He survived this long because of this:

People being happy with £10m for Martial ffs thank God you're not in charge
I'd want more than £10m from Saudi, of course. However, if the Saudis aren't interested (no credible rumors yet) then there's no chance of getting even that when you consider his wages and injuries. Thank god you're not in charge overwise we'd be stuck with him for another season in the treatment table for £250k pw.People being happy with £10m for Martial ffs thank God you're not in charge

Would snatch their hand off for 10m.
He's got 1 year left on his contract I believe and he's never available due to injury.
Out of interest what's your value of Martial?
At least that would be £10m we didn’t have before, and we need the money.People being happy with £10m for Martial ffs thank God you're not in charge

As another team and seeing Martials injury record, depressive attitude and actual output the last 2 years, how much would you pay? Of course 10M and off the payroll would be ok
I'd probably value him at £30m. He is a very talented player, and he would likely do very well in a weaker league if he manages to get rid of his injuries. He has one year left, but when you consider all the players who are much worse than him going for way higher fees, it's not an unrealistic task.
Elanga is a 21 year old on 5k pw with no history of injury issues. His fee is irelevant to a Martial transfer. What's wrong with his output when you consider his goals and assists per 90?
Elanga went for £15m and you want to get rid of Martial for £10m. Jesus.
Weaker league is where in your opinion????I'd probably value him at £30m. He is a very talented player, and he would likely do very well in a weaker league if he manages to get rid of his injuries. No club outside of Saudi Arabia will pay more than £15m for him.

Is that Al-Exclusive
Absolute revisionist nonsense but okay.
You say "Martial would likely do very well in a weaker league" but you rate him for £30m.Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga. In a market where Morgan Gibbs White goes for £50m, and you don't think clubs can pay £15m for Martial? Some of you are still stuck in 2010.
You use Series A, Ligue 1 and BL as your examples of 'weaker leagues' then use a PL player, transferred between PL clubs as an example of a transfer fee.Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga. Because he’s basically never fully fit? He’s the type of player that can only perform well when he’s fully healthy and any slight knock and he’s a pale shadow of himself. For the like of me I can’t figure out why anyone would want to sell him right now. Do folks on here not understand squad positions?
Totally agree that he’s not the answer at ST for our ambitions…he’s not good enough and gets hurt too easily. But he is a perfect squad ST as he plays to ETH’s style. He’s been quite good when fit in fact. So why sell him?
One…right now we have zero other pure STs, so selling him would be mad. Yes he gets hurt but one often hurt ST is better than zero.
Two…if we don get a legit starting ST, as mentioned earlier he is a perfect back up. So again…why sell him?
I just don’t get the rush to sell all of these players to basically gut the team and give us absolutely no depth. Many of these guys are perfect squad players.
