Let's be honest, this is just confirming what's been obvious for months. The idea of the club being sold anytime soon looks like a pipe dream.
They don’t see it as a football club, they see it as a commercial entity with a billion customers. Twitter is a piece of shit that has way less interest from a commercial perspective than a brand like United but it still went for $44b. After this whole saga that went on for a bloody year - no one would offer any proposition to them or take them seriously, because they're a joke!

I don't get the rationale of trying to sell again in a couple years. The club is likely to need more investment going forward, not less. Why do they think that they'll suddenly get a few billion more in a couple years?
Not everyone watches football for the same reason. Some want to support a team and a community.

The signs do not seem to be good. As I posted earlier (a couple of days ago) the United Muppetier (James) thinks that will kick the can down the road. I suppose you couple that with the fact that next to nothing in terms of news has come out in terms of progress, the bidders not hearing anything etc, etc.
It does not look good. They are also probably looking at the amount Saudi Arabia is spending.
