Wayne Bridge perhaps, that would be interesting conversation over a Sunday roast.
Bridge’s revenge. Turn up with Frankie Bridge on his arm and keep asking Terry how he possibly pissed away all his money that he’s resorted to this.

Actually, I meant platinum - sorry about that.

I can do cash too, but it has to be North Korean won, and you need to meet me within the next half hour.

At the Gare du Nord in Paris.
I can do platinum as well, and he has contacts over there in the jewellery quarter, give them the platinum and they'll wire me the value

Cool, let's do it.

I'll be at platform 17 in exactly...12 minutes.

I'll be wearing a pink trench coat, combat boots (also pink) and a straw hat (also pink, but a darker shade).

You need to signal me when you approach: slap your left arse cheek, spin around (a full 360) whilst imitating the call of an Andean condor.

I have a man already there

Amateur mistake, mate.

I don't deal with third parties, strictly with the big man.

(And by "big man" I don't mean John Terry, because - as stated - I don't deal with him either.)
Unfortunately, you missed the meet, so you have to have dinner with John Terry, your lose

What wouldn't you talk about?

The slip, the full kit wanker stuff, the Wayne Bridge stuff, the not guilty Anton Ferdinand case, the NFTs?

The dude won you the Champions league, get your £500 out and have a chat.
It would be so worth it to ask how it felt to blow the biggest moment in his career

Multimillionaire charges £500 for a bit of grub with him and says it’s for charity. Nothing about the poor twats paying the £500 for it . He should be returning that £500 out of his own pocket

The John Terry Foundation. Dude is trying every trick in the book. He'll be doing online courses on how to sell on Amazon soon.

What is there to gain from people like JT where it's worth paying that much up to hear them speak?

I guess understand maybe a more interesting or influential character or the very best like Messi or Ronaldo and you could at least tell friends guess do I met but it's so weird there's grown men so keen to be paying that up to meet JT.

Dont think I'd do it even for the 500 quid. 1000 and I suppose I could go and chat about cars or golf or whatever else fills his brain for an hour

You'd probably have to pay for his meal as well. I can hear his stomach from here.

If anyone paid any amount of money just to eat with me, I'd be really concerned they'd be awful company.

A few initial thoughts.

1. I had a look back at all the promotional material for these evenings and there's nothing in the material that even hints that a portion of it is for a charitable cause.

2. It's great that he's announced the full proceeds are now going to the "John Terry 26 Foundation". But up until yesterday there's no evidence of this foundation ever existing. It's not on the registered charity list. Not publicising the fact that it's for charity is a bit of a red flag especially since people are more likely to spend their cash for a good cause.

3. Following on from point 2; because this foundation is not a registered charity the donations it receives do not qualify for gift aid. Also, if the proceeds go to him he can't get a tax deduction when he gives the money to the foundation because it won't count as a qualifying charitable donation. If it was his intention all along to give the proceeds to this foundation then it doesn't make sense that he hasn't got this in order.

4. Having considered all the above and taking account all of the other (..and let's be charitable about this) errors he's made in his past, I've come to the conclusion that he's almost certainly full of shit and is just trying to save face on yet another PR disaster.

He's a Man United fan. Standard stuff for most of them.
"I was a glory hunter. I had every shirt: Celtic, Rangers, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, I had them all. I had them all – I never really had a team until I went to Chelsea and Chelsea became my team."
He's a glory hunter plain and simple.

Typical small minded posts on here like usual, jealous of those successful in life. The John Terry 26 Foundation does some really important and vital work, like arming child soldiers in South Sudan

What's so small minded? I don't like him because he said racist shit and acts like a cnut. Second, it seemed to me duffer was saying he was a real Manchester United fan. But he wasn't. He probably followed them for a bit since they were killing it back then. So shut up.

I was joking mate, on both parts. I don't actually think John Terry should be arming child soldiers in South Sudan
