the guy has some connection in terms of getting lineup leaks shortly before release and transfer announcements shortly before they're posted. He has some social media contact and that's about it. Getting it back on topic my gut feeling is he's on a similar programme to Rasmus when he joined,so reckon team training next week and maybe bench against Palace in league.

At this point, you have to assume that they have played for him or at least played against him -- an exception. The odds are on for sure.
So its 4 ex Ajax and I think another 4 played against him in Dutch league
It's a prediction... basically if a player has the right age so he can be here for long enough, is talented, is in a clear position and role of need and a fair enough price, theres a much higher chance of them being a hit. Mount doesn't have a clear position and was pricy especially when you consider we could have got him on a free in a year, so he's the likeliest to flop. Hojlund was a bit pricy but I believe in the talent and think his profile is pretty rare so understand the price.

I think it reminds you of the LVG days. Picking up players that only LVG had heard of.
Pretty much every manager since Fergie left if we're honest, except maybe Ole (the ONE TIME it would've been great to happen!)
