Count me along those who had high hopes for Sancho, high hopes to the point where he would eclipse Rashford and be the player who would shit the pants of opposing defenders.

Tragedy or farce I don’t know.

I thought he had a chance of replacing Rashford in our starting lineup, never even come close. I really didn't realise just how many issues he has.

We've all apologised despite not meaning it just to move on from a bad situation. It would seem to me, that given how long has passed, Sancho feels he has the power to stand his ground over what he considers an injustice done towards him. As someone else has said, he either thinks he'll outlast EtH at the club (maybe he knows if he's lost a sufficient number of players already), he thinks United will loan/sell him in January, or he isn't bothered about not playing/training and accepted that this his is last big contract in football.

It might sound a tad brusque but IMO it doesn’t matter what they think because it’s their job (their incredibly highly paid job) to do what the f**k they’re told to do within the limits of their contracts.

They should think on;

Get your head down, work hard, be humble, work harder, learn, work harder . . Pick up big fat multi £million monthly cheque . . And repeat.

Edit; This prima-donna syndrome is a common issue across the game, most clubs suffer similarly and TH will stamp it out if he keeps the support of his management through this difficult transition in playing styles.

Show them where the door is. Farcical shit, paid millions to play football and causing this much aggro. Just do your fecking jobs.

I'm paying a fiver subs to play tomorrow and I'll still have to play fecking right back, the old codger I am.

Nothing like being a supporter of the biggest club in the world. So we get stories like this complete and utter shite. What other club is treated like this in England? Nobody. Circle the wagons ETH. Feck em all.

I remember this "joke" Lukashenko made years ago when asked "how would you solve the corruption problem in our country?" He replied with "On day 1 we shoot all the oligarchs and their cronnies. One day 2 we shoot all the people who show up to their funneral"

ETH should take a similar approach. Find out who these players are and send them packing with Sancho.

If being the highest players in our squad and not even putting in the required effort of a midtable PL player offends you, then you have no business being a Manchester Untied player. Simple as.

This is why supporters hate players who show no effort. They know that if they ever had a chance to play at any decent level of football, let alone the pinnacle, they’d work their socks off for 90 minutes.

Then imagine getting paid millions to do it! Crazy.

Sancho's people briefing the media.

We could lose the next 5 games, yet no one would say we could have used Jadon Sancho in the team. Certainly not on the form he has showed us thus far.
Very true.

The amount of dross articles flying around at the moment yet not one has said that leaving Sancho out is at the detriment to the football. They’ve got no stats to even try to back up their case, they’d just look silly for suggesting it.

Sancho is only creating a bigger divide and I don’t even think he cares.

That’s a good point. He’s not missed cos he hasn’t done shit since he got here.
I still don’t understand what happened to this wunderkind at Dortmund. He left his mojo there I suppose.

He's supposed to be a senior player and an elite athlete, at least that's what we're paying him £300k a week for. The fact he's not injured and is instead playing video games whilst his teammates are preparing for a match, is a really bad look, and further emphasises how unprofessional he is.

He should be working his arse off to get back into the team, but seemingly he doesn't care.
That in itself wouldn't bother me but at least be smart about it, use another account or something. Clearly he doesn't seem to give a shit about his United career so I hope he won't ever wear the shirt

Totally agree.

You don’t like how the manager is handling a player who hasn’t met the levels for his team that should be expected of elite athletes? First thing I’d say is, your concerns are duly noted, now forget it and do your f**king job.

Second thing id ask is what are your ambitions? If you are focused on winning and succeeding that overrides all else. Adding to that, as cutthroat aa it is, you wouldn’t want a player like Sancho moping around the training pitch dragging the mood and culture down.

Winners Want to win. That’s what separates teams that win from teams that fall short. Teams that fall short find excuses, teams that win have no distractions because nothing else matters. Winners want to play with players who will help them achieve their goals, im sorry but Sancho has never looked like a player with the mental strength to do that so I know for a fact that the winners at the club aren’t that arsed about Sancho being isolated.

So to the alleged players who are not happy with Sancho treatment all I say is “pretty please, with sugar on top, do your f.**king job”.

Agree. It's disgusting to see half baked performances by players on such enormous wages. If someone puts themselves out there and it's just not their day so be it, that happens. But the lack of desire to win and perform with pride/passion is unforgivable.

If your manager says his issue with you is your intensity in training and lateness. This are things you can work on. If you arrive earlier than most and train harder than most then surely he wouldn't have any stick to beat you with.
If then he's harsh on you it will look an obvious injustice.

These kids earns 100 times the money we normal people will earn in a whole lifetime at the age of 19, 20 or 21.

How can you expect them to stay humble? Of course most of them start thinking they are special and their shit doesn't stink.

I think he's the perfect example why you should never pay obscene wages to young players. A good base wage with added bonuses and a promise of a future pay rise if and when proven. As it stands, his career at United is worse than that of Daniel James, and that is not taking into account the money spent on the player or his wages.
Seriously comparing a lad who cost 15m and tried his hardest and did as he was told against Sancho? Come on! Daniel James Utd career is miles ahead of Sancho. Sancho can be compared to the crap like Bebe.

I think the fans should show their support towards ETH and sing only his songs at the next home game. Show these plastic players and club that we back ETH

The most damning thing, and something that really isn't in his favours, during all these games he's not been part of, I very much doubt many have thought "damn wish we had Sancho to turn this around". It's hard to miss someone so invisible massively more often than not.

The fans did this when Solskjaer was the boss, much to the ire of the Caf, but it didn’t stop the players throwing the towel in every game.

One thing I know for sure is that if we’re relying on Jandon Sancho to get us into the top 4, we’re definitely going to finish outside the top 4.

Ban them too. If they have the balls to actually say this outside of whispers to the press.
I wish players had more backbone. Either come out and say it or shut up and get on with it. Of course this could all be media rubbish so hard to know what to believe.

Absolute hatchet job on ETH here in the Irish Times from Kevin Kilbane (unsurprisingly). Sancho is an elite player that just needs to be managed better, apparently. Conveniently ignoring talk of injuries and that no United fan I know expected more than a point from the last 3 games.

Nobody even cares if Sancho is available or not, we just don't want the drama of this mess. His last start in the FA cup final was frankly embarrassing for a professional footballer and I don't want to cheer when he gets the ball like he's the teenage son of a friend of mine playing senior football against the big boys. 'Go on Jadon kick towards the goal, there's a good lad.'

He's been given 80 games. Adnan Januzaj made far more of an impression. Macheda won us a title. Luke Chadwick came on as a sub and kept the machine going. What has Jadon done?

You think Rashford is mates with the bloke that won’t play because he wants an automatic start in Rashfords position despite doing absolutely nothing for 2 years?
Yes they are mates. He is also the only player that liked Sancho's angry post on social media.

The faster ETH decides to drop players who aren’t committed and replace them with those who are regardless if they’re young and inexperienced, the better he will be for it. We might still not do well on the pitch but it sends out a signal to those cnuts who are sulking. And the board need to back him

ETH quite literally said that Sancho could be playing, but that it's entirely up to him at this point. Then followed it up with saying that they have options on the right hand side, but it's up to the players in that position - they know the rules.

Sounds to me like Sancho would be back in the squad, maybe even straight into the first eleven, if he apologised and made some amends.

Honestly, what is Sancho playing at?

I think Sancho view is right, its just coming from the wrong person. I think he saying what some of the players are thinking. Dont be surprised if he isnt the only player looking for the exit....and some of those are starters.

So a footballer sitting on their arse, getting paid a fortune for a job they aren’t doing is right because other mentally weak footballers agree with them?

I remember a time when footballers had pride in putting in the most effort regardless of anything else. They also had respect for the fans of the clubs they played for and valued the privileged life they were living.

Sancho is spitting in every one of our faces, if that’s ok with you, then good luck to you.

It’s no loss is it? These players aren’t exactly good are they? It wouldn’t be the end of the world if they all left.
