People really having a go at Pellistri, what you want from that kid, to carry bunch of overpaid cnuts seniors, he had few runs early but Dalot decided that he aint capable to make that pass. He wasnt better or worse than other 2 upfront, maybe they should go on loan too.
    He's almost 22 years old.

He's just not good enough at this level. He's a mid table la liga player at best.

Rashford and Hojlund just can’t pass to each other.
There's just no cohesion the further up the pitch we go. We're not looking to play others in or create easy chances. The only time we've played someone in is that chance where Rashford found Hojlund, who has had our only real chance this game. That's only happened the once.

We’re so shit aren’t we. Beat a second string Palace team in midweek and some people actually thought we were back.

Relying on Rashford in 2023 sums it up really, he hasn't fooled me with his goals last year, he will always be an inconsistent players, but so many will be blind to this.

Feel like people are overreacting a bit. We've been in complete control for about 40 of the 48 minutes
Make no mistake about it Palace are delighted to sit off and let us have the ball they’re confident that we’re creating nothing

70% possession and not a wet fart effort at goal. Hilarious to be honest

I see Rashford is the new Maguire/McTominay now.

    Didn't take long.

It's on ETH at the end of the day. Rashford has been playing like this for quite some time, if he keeps playing him, it means he is happy with what he sees.

We are rubbish and we know we are.
We just don’t impose ourselves enough
Martial is still better than the new no 9
No one should be a guaranteed starter if they are not playing well including Rashford and Bruno

Yes he’s involved but it doesn’t mean shit if he’s always making bad decisions.
his involvements were terrible. First 15 Pellistri saw nothing. Everything went down the left initially. Upon realising he was on his way to having another shocker, we started using the right much more towards the back end of the half

Hannibal, Garnacho and dare I say it Martial would have been the better options to start this game, and if ETH has any balls he'll get them on the pitch before the game is totally lost.
He won't, he'll wait for the 82nd fecking minute for the game to be gone and no time for them to do anything till he makes these subs. So predictable...

Ok let's see what the second half brings.

Just need to be more composed when we have the ball. Like settle the feck down and stop losing possession needlessly.

Pretty much United back to awful, very little penetration, no natural left footer Playing left back, hate to say it we just don’t look like we can score goals, Hojlund getting the graveyard shift, Pellistri not strong enough just yet and Mejbri deserves to be on asap, Bruno and Rashford need to find form or spend some time on the bench.

Palace will dig in now so a draw actually might be the best we can get in another home game.
So we’ve scored 7 PL goals in 6 and half PL games and Fabs don’t think we’ve got huge issues that’s actually 40 projected PL goals let that sink in, we’ve been declining in the scoring department for a decade and this season could be the worst yet, Rashford getting maybe 5 or 6 rather than 17 to 18 will expose just how week this part of the side is.

why does it always feel like rashford pauses for like a second, just facing up a defender...?

... always giving a chance for the defending team to make sure everyone is picked up

Casemiro is often so poor with his passing that it's frustrating.

    Mount only bright spot.

On Palace's goal: maybe I'm wrong but looked to me like they took the free kick so far away (and from better position to create a chance) from the actual spot where Amrabat fouled their player.

Poor season continues. Looking hapless against a toothless palace side. Abysmal performance!
On paper we should be winning all 6 of our 7 games including this one with city game the only loss but have low hopes for even games against brentford , Fulham and Everton

Like we were in control and "neutralized" Arsenal? Teams know they can let us have the ball and not be in any danger, and that a turnover is just around the corner. We are very easy and predictable to play against.
How can we be in control when we play so poorly and concede… as you said, we struggle again and some players are really poor

Best less shite than an invisible winger is not the measuring stick at this club
Not suggesting it is, just pointing out that certain people saying Rashford should be subbed off based on performance but happy for Pellestri to stay on makes it feel like it’s a personal dislike as opposed to a performance related decision.

Truly abysmal half from Rashford, he needs to come out and perform second half.

Pellistri aint it. Id take him off, move mount up to RW, amrabat into midfield and find someone else to play LB

Unlucky half. We are getting nothing from either wing.

I’m enjoying seeing Mount and Amrabat play together. Amrabat’a foul led to the goal, but he’s been switching with long diagonals, driving us forward, and together with Mount we have 2 players who always want the ball and can do something with it.

Højlund had a good effort, cleared off the line. I’ve liked his link play better, he is showing more control than I thought he had.

Bruno has been peripheral. Rashford been greedy with the ball, definitely should have passed several times.

Not doing too much wrong, but okay breaks down when Rashford or Pellistri get it. Have to either bypass them or tell them to look for a cross instead of whatever they have been doing (I.e., lose the ball).

Very difficult to judge when listening on the radio but I think it's safe to assume we've been monumentally shite in the first half and somehow, in multiple ways, we need to improve.

I honestly don't know what we are doing at the moment.

Only created 1 half decent chance. No patterns of play. Totally dependent on a moment of magic from an off form Rashford. The CM is still useless. Palace wont get an easier away from home all season as things stand.
i was about to say the same, against palace at home when we barely test their defense at all....

Mate we shouldn't be rubbish. That team is full of international players, every one of them.

That’s the way it’s been going this season. Look bright for 15min, concedes a goal and turns to pants thereafter.

    This is United.

We come up against a team with a semblance of organization and we come undone.

As per usual, we are hoping for a moment of brilliance from one of our players.

Palace is flooding the midfield and pressing with 5 or 6 players. Bruno, as usual, just waits for the ball so he can make a risky pass which ends up in Palace having the ball again. That leaves us with Casemiro and Mount having to control our entire midfield. Unacceptable. Can't even keep the ball in midfield in our possession for longer than 10 seconds.
