The guy is average as hell, just happened to have the game of his life last week.

Really wanted NZ to make a statement here as an Ireland fan but the truth is they had an all time performance last week, while we were at 80%, and they really aren't that great at all. Helped a lot by refs deciding they can do whatever they want at the breakdown too.

This. We have seen England basically emptying themselves against NZ in the semis and then have nothing left for the final 4 years ago.

To be honest it was the blatant hands on the ground that annoyed me last week. That's Barnes for you though, next match he could kill them for that. But yeah they are fairly pushing the laws around the rucks.

Don't care what anyone says about the draw and great QFs this takes a lot of the gloss off. A tournament should build momentum.
Unfortunately the draw has produced semi finals in the quarters and quarters in the semis.
