Might as well be Mendy, solid defender, but he is kinda crap going forward lets be honest.
Don't we have someone who can play left back in the meantime?
Mendy doesn't offer much in attack indeed but our defensive stats improve dramatically when he plays as left back and our strikers seem inspired at the moment so I'd rather see him there than not.

Just saying. With the injuries this season I’m not taking anything for granted  Lost Vini twice, lost Tchou and Cama, Carvajal has been out and now Alaba. Not to mention Tibo and Militao. Think we’re gonna end up seeing players playing out of position a lot this season.
And Guler :(

Mendy subbed by Fran García. Did anything happen there?

Great run, and good composure at the end by Brahim.

Alaba fecked his ACL. Won’t be seeing him anytime soon.

Injuries will be the main thing stopping us winning big titles.

There's an excellent defender with massive experience and trophies at the highest level, being frozen out by his coach, who might be available in January!

Leny Yoro has been linked.
He’s gonna great, absolute talent, but I doubt Lille sells in the middle of the season while they’re fighting for top 4. It’d take oil state money

Hope both Nice and United are monitoring him.

Turned on the Atletico game in the second half and Greenwood has been great.

He’s been picking up form. Still has this “shoot first, pass later” mentality. Missed a pass to set up a possible game winner.

Main thing I noticed is his strength is coming back.

Everything is coming up Girona
Betis just scored from what should have been a GK though.

But yeah did they get away with a lot this game. Betis should’ve scored like 2-3.

In other circumstances we could sub out Rodrygo for Brahim. Not sure these are conditions for Joselu

Rodrygo needs to come off anyways. Horrific tonight

This has 94th minute Madrid winner written all over it.
Near enough.

Don't think any other team in world football has as much muscle memory to win these type of games off a set piece as Real Madrid do season in season out.

I'd genuinely love to see Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool in a title race. Would be a competition to see who can get the most wins in injury time. These Madrid wins are just inevitable, no matter how good or bad they play.

So now he's injured too. Good job Carlo. Feh

Also yeah, it is known fact that the universe was invented so there would be a stage to showcase Real Madrid's greatness

Thought it would be Joselu though, not fecking Lucas Vazquez

Alaves have been nothing short of a disgrace here. No chances with one man extra. 3 of them marking Bellingham from that corner while Rudiger and Nacho were completely free.

Madrid could have played with 8 men and they'd inevitably get a later winner whether from the corner or a triple deflection.
