Never had so few points or goals at this stage of a season

Add to that his signings have been comical and there’s no much left to say

The season is 100% over

He's beyond lucky that there are no top managers available and that the club is undergoing structural change. Should have been gone a month ago.

First points Forest get from United since 1995
Wasn't it 1992 since they have got anything against us from their home game. I know Ineos may not want to make any rash decisions, but this is actually throwing an entire season down the gutter if we persist with this bald feck. Someone needs to take ownership and sort this mess out. Fire eth and get someone in to get a new manager bounce. At least give the fans something to cheer about.

Love it how you respond to this now but not after the Villa game.
Point was and still is, we're shit unless facing teams with a high line. You disagreed with this. No point responding after a win as it clearly makes people blind to the obvious.

Changing things around so much just because Hojlund was out seemed odd after a good performance.

To anyone saying "Yes, but if we sack him now, which manager would be better?" - please consider this:

Which manager would be worse?

Seriously, Ten Hag has spent 200 million in a single transfer season to be in charge of a toothless, dangerous-once-in-a-blue-moon slightly upper mid table side. I'm pretty sure I can do that too. So seriously, which manager would be worse? Name one that you think would do a worse job with what he's given. We're seriously going to pretend we're the only club plagued by injuries?

If "no better alternatives" is your argument, then feck it, sign me. I'll do it for 10% of whatever Ten Hag is earning, put the other 90% towards our transfer budget. We won't be any better, but we won't be worse. But if that's the only argument you can come up with in the first place, you're already grasping at straws.

If your verdict on him as a manager is anything other than "not good enough", you're either a WUM or very delusional.

His obsession with Scott McTominay since that Brentford game though.

This comeback win would be the ultimate reason for his own sacking.

We've got the same problem we had with Ralf. The players know the manager will be gone before them.

I'm expecting feet to be dragged until Champions League qualification is off the table. Then they'll sack him.
Unless we get knocked out of the FA by Wigan. We’ve got a long break end of Jan so the owners will be able to think about options then.

Signing off on Onana and Anthony will be the death of him. Then again, how often do we not see the same at other clubs where managers bring some of the players they worked with before only for it to fall apart.

The McTominay sub does not make any sense at all unless Mainoo is injured.
At least Mainoo has positional awareness!
The one thing Ten Hag has going for him is the injury list but we need to see a marked improvement when he has everyone available as there’s no excuses then

Zero confidence in him now. The injuries have been a genuine hindrance and he can take three quarters of this squad with him, but it’s time to go. Genuinely gutted it hasn’t worked out.

Our season is literally screw up by ETH, he decided to let David and spent 50 million on a useless Onana, he decided to sign Mount who has an expiring contract. He decided to sign a young striker who is not ready yo lead the front line. His insistence to play Antony who is totally useless in my book, he continues to use McTominay like his Swiss army knife. Ratcliffe, please sack him ASAP. This man single handedly remove joy of watching football. He misuses our funds and deserve to be sack.

The complete inability to create against any semi-competent defensive unit is his major downfall. It doesn't seem like he's taken any steps to try and remedy it so how is anything going to change?

We’re quite literally in relegation form, but sure, give him more time and see what happens…
We are not only an awfully run football club, we are an awfully run business too. Any job in the world, if you keep failing you're gone. Makes no sense at all

That McT sub was so insane. No idea what his thought process was behind it. Is he actively looking to get sacked? Does he miss home and wants to feck off. Make his Christmas wish come true if that is the case and fire his ass before he gets on the team bus.

I like the guy, wanted him to succeed, but it's too much "one step forward and two humiliating steps back"

Just complete brain dead decisions by EtH. By pure luck, he stumbles upon something that actually works against Villa. Rashford in his natural position, Garnacho on the right. For once, we create loads of chances.

Next game, he goes back to something that has been proven ineffective again and again. Rashford up top (where he’s completely useless because he can’t play with his back to the goal, doesn’t know how to position himself in the box, doesn’t challenge for headers, can’t link up with teammates etc.). Garnacho out left where he has shown he’s not very good at beating his man. And Antony on the right even though he’s an abomination of a footballer and hasn’t scored in a year or whatever.

I know Hojlund was missing but the put Garnacho up top. Or play Bruno as a false 9. Or even put McT in there. Basically, just do anything apart from what we did tonight which was taking away the only player we’ve got who can actually beat a man (Rashford) from a position where he can actually use said skill. Wonder why we didn’t create anythin?

Also, every man and his dog know that McT cannot play as a CM due to his limited passing range, his lack of understanding of setting the game up and ESPECIALLY his lack of defensive awareness. So what does our genius manager do? He subs our actual DM and puts McT as a lone DM next to a ghost (Eriksen) just to see McT losing his man for BOTH THEIR GOALS.

What the feck is this man thinking?! I’ve had enough.

He can't adapt to anything. As soon as he discovered the players he had couldn't play the exact way he wanted them to be had no plan B. We've been middling about since he came in. We've never actually played "great". We've had some decent periods in matches but I can't remember the last time I thought we dominated a game against anyone.

If the solution to him becoming a great manager for us is "he needs to replace the entire first 11" then he's not right for us at all. The first spat of injuries and we'll be where we are right now, completely devoid of ideas.

Got it completely wrong today. This suicidal one man midfield doesn't work at the best of times, and he decided to do it with McT at the base? Even if it were 4-2-3-1, how does playing an aging Eriksen with a defensively inept McT work? Like I actually don't understand why he doesn't see what we all see. I want to give him slight credit for bringing on Amad before 60 mins, but that was probably because Antony was injured. I know we're ravaged by injuries, but some these losses seem self inflicted.
