So funny seeing some of the posts in here.

How many players have we fecked over in recent years?

Actually, the easier question to save time would be, what signings have been successful since the retirement of Sir Alex? Answer is, not very many. Why? Probably because we're dog shit when it comes to recruitment. Antony, Mount, Casemiro, Amrabat are all recent examples of this.

There’s no excuse for not putting in maximum effort. No matter how little “charisma” the manager might have. It’s unprofessional and it’s not just disrespectful to the manager, but to the badge and the fans as well. All this while collecting a fat salary.

Why are you pretending Sancho isn’t equally as guilty in this scenario?

he can be very good when he is in the right mindset and plays in an environment that suits his fragile mind to a tee (i.e for a team where not winning a trophy is not the end of the world).

United = massive pressure from the get-go + a salary that makes one feel like he won the 'game' already.

It was easy to forget but he is not a shit footballer. He just looks shit when facing a challenge.
Can't imagine him looking decent for Barca or Madrid for that matter.

He's no use in a giant club.
He can be pretty good for a lesser club.

We should sell him asap, and he might rip it elsewhere.
Same as it was with Mkhitaryan who eventually started looking good for Inter, same with many others.

As an outsider, did Sancho has similar issue back in BVB? While I agreed with the bolded part, there is probably a better way to protect the value of your "asset".

I'm not pretending anything. Antony and Mount have a 'good attitude' but that won't stop them from ineveiablly failing at United. Problem is, we bring these players in without any real plan and wonder why they shit the bed.

Yeah, tbf, EtH tried with Sancho initially. Gave him like 2-3 months off to sort his head out etc. I don’t doubt that there’s two sides to the story, but our clubs been a joke for way too long - partly because we’ve indulged players with attitudes like these. Because our previous clueless Board would’ve been worried about things like commercials & value etc.

On the BVB bit, apparently there was a few instances of turning up late etc & iirc, they even had/used their assistant coach to go and wake Sancho up/ensure he’s not late etc. - something we clearly didn’t think we needed to do with a supposed elite professional athlete. But alas, I just don’t want him back, that’s all. Wrong attitude for where we find ourselves as a club.

This Dortmund side would destroy us, far beyond anything Coventry City could imagine.

Latin American commentators have been hinting that Donnarumma has a mistake in him all night. Then he almost doesn't catch that ball right before the half time whistle. Hilarious hearing their reaction, they're just waiting for him to prove them right.

This thread is hilarious with disgruntled posters.... Great to hear he's finding form again! Hopefully he comes back to us under a better man manager and delivers on his promise.... Yeah I said it!

Plenty clearly with agendas both ways. But I have to say he's been 'ok' tonight. The praise on BT is mental.

Even if he found form again he’s not suited to the PL. Too slow. Too passive. Not good enough work rate. He’ll be fine at Dortmund.

Atleast it's additional leverage for us in negotiations. If Ten Hag's gone, we can simply tell his agent if he wants to leave it's fine but get a suitable offer or get back and start playing here.

Hopefully it's inflating his value, no interest in having him back here

It’s a real shame Dortmund have shown knowledge of how to use him in two separate stints. We never once tried to use him correctly to the point purchasing him seemed to have occurred by mistake.

People don’t think he’d be decent in the prem but I guarantee he could do exactly what Grealish does for City. Now whether that’s good enough meh probably not because no other team dominates the ball in that way.
Yeah. He'd be good for City. Anyone else, they don't spend 80% of the game in the opponents third, so he would struggle. Hopefully we get decent money for him
