No what I'm saying is that the proper way to deal with these things is to notify the incident to the proper authority who will decide what they should do about it. And you not having a concussion is irrelevant, someone else may have a concussion, in fact sometimes people die after what may look like a common blow to the head, if you have concussion symptoms go to the emergency, it's literally what the NHS or their equivalents advise.

Marmoush will probably take his place and he scored a hat-trick against Newcastle not so long ago. Just thinking about it as we play against them on Sunday. Our defence coped well with Haaland at the Etihad in December and also in the cup final back in May as well.

They had 5 last year around christmas, against low level opponents, where they did just fine. Probably hard to conclude whether that was either worse or better, as it was everton, palace, sheffield united, etc, which they should win against anyways. Of “big” opponents during that time period was Newcastle where Bobb secured a dramatic 3-2 overtime win.
So if you don’t have more evidence than 7-8 games, this year it’s a bit anecdotal. They also went out to Real Madrid without Haaland and lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool without him, and only got a draw against us while looking dire. Before the string of wins.
It’s just hard to conclude that they’re better without him, that’s all.

Writing off City coming back seems painfully silly. They will literally just throw 500m at the situation.
Also it probably overestimates how bad/far off they are. If Rodri hadn't missed the entire season they'd at least be in a comfortable 2nd place and no one would be writing them off from making a comeback next season.
They obviously need to get over the line in the top 5 race this season though which is in slight doubt after today's result, but they should get it done against Bournemouth and Fulham.
