his techniques always been great but recently the thing he's been doing differently is getting into correct positions

Fair play Mason lad. Did anyone see the look on Amorims face after the 2nd goal of his. Hes given him some food for thought! Happy he was finally effective tonight!
 
If he'll do it like today, for full 90 minutes, next season, then could be one of main factors to turn this team around.

Just excellent at everything, not one bad moment.

I have always liked him as a player, deserve is a weird word in professional football but you can tell how much he has wanted to be fit and contributing, all coming to a head in that City game where he was quite visibly upset. On that basis, he deserves that tonight.

Aside from the goals, his basic technique in quick passing exchanges is a step up on most of our attackers.

So happy for him. Not only he didn't deserve so much shit because he was injured and it isn't his fault, but it also went to plain lies about him not being good enough while he was in Chelsea. Considering how much Amorim praised him, it is obvious he tried his absolute best, so it is great to see him finally get his moments.
 
He just needs to stay fit and he has everything we need in a player. Could be a huge player for us next year.
 
He can still have a good career here, just needs to stay fit. It would be great if we can finally start to get something from him after we paid so much for him.

What a game from Mason! This could be a turning point for him in Utd. I really hope he becomes more fit next season, cause I know that he has quality to be a top class player. He was our MOTM tonight and what a performance from him. 2 goals and what bangers he scored! Wow.

What confidence and fitness can do to a talented player. I have to admit I had written him off. I hope he shows more games like these. That was a 10/10 cameo.
 
That turn for the first goal is outrageously good. Loved his celebration as well.

Said it before, he is a good player. Considering Amorim's formation, it would be great to get him in shape.

Two superb goals, serious shortage of that technique in the squad outside of Bruno, Amad and maybe Mainoo. He seems like a popular player amongst the team - think Amorim has managed easing him back in well.
 
That really is sensational technique on the second goal, most players wouldn't strike the ball that cleanly off their stronger foot and he pinged it with his left. Nice.
