I've got a pretty little mouth underneath all the
Re-phrase, Berbatov is proven in the Premier League.

And Ibrahimovic is so over-rated it's untrue. (In my opinion)
He's already done more in his career than Berbatov ever will.

One season in the Premier League and you would forget who Berbatov was and think Ibrahimovic was world class. But sinse he isn't proven in the Premier League i guess he isn't all that good. No players that haven't played in the premier league have ever been much good anyway :houllier:

Ronaldinho: If we got him, forget the issues for the moment, the other players will wet themselves. It would be an incredible coup. Players get excited too, and he's a small risk but if you get him fit and mentally at it....BOOOOOOOOOM!!

There is no better environment and no better man manager. It would spark the fans and the players would be in a very good mood after this summer of bullshit

Who is Clement Fritz? Not sure about Ronaldinhio either.

Certainly be happy with the first two though.

If Ronaldo goes -

Micah Richards
Rafael van der Vaart
Dimitar Berbatov

& tie up the Tevez deal.

It baffles me how people say they don't want Berbatov because of his agre or the fact that he is 'lazy', when Ibrahimovic is just 1 year younger and is probably the most laziest player on the planet.
I dunno, he always gives me the impression that he's dog tired. Ibra on the other hand, appears much more energetic, and willing to take players on with his wtfbbqskills.

Me want:
Micah Richards
Samir Nasri
Clement Chantome
Hatem ben Arfa

If Hleb leaves:
Hatem ben Arfa, in failing that then;
Andrei Asharvin, in failing that then;
David Silva

We have already signed:
Aaron Ramsay
Francis Coquelin
Carlos Vela (well he finally arrived)

For Spurs:

DM: Veloso
Cover CB: Coloccini
LM/LW: Downing

I think we may get Gomes anyway, so I've excluded a GK. And Berbatov to stay if we're dreaming.

-------- Gomes ------
Hutton - Woodgate - King - Bale
-------- Jenas - Veloso
Dos Santos - Modric - Downing
---------- Berbatov ------

That does look a bloody good team that Glaston and one more than capable of pushing for a top 4. However, managing to keep Woodgate, King and Bale fit all season will be a challange but if you can manage it I wouldn't put it past you to finish in the top 4.

I wouldn't take Robbie Keane out though:nono: Modric is capable of playing on the left so I would put him there and revert to 4-4-2 with Berbatov and Keane up-front. I don't think Downing is a necessity for you guys, If worse comes to worse you could always push Bale upto left midfield and put Lee at left back.

Glaston Downing is terribly overrated and just wouldn't cut it for Spurs. Even Malbranque is better than him. What happened to the Capel rumours? He would be 10 times better.

It's all about opinions I guess and almost every time I've seen Downing play for Boro' I've been very impressed. I've long wanted to see him at Spurs.

Malbranque is a decent player, but has suffered a bit from being played on the left, which isn't his natural position. He's certainly a tenacious fighter, and has good dribbling and attacking skills: 7 goals and 7 assists last season isn't at all bad. But he also has a tendency to sometimes lose the ball in dangerous situations when going off on one of his mazy runs. He also tends to run out of ideas when close to the box. Good midfield cover for us, but we need better in the first XI if top 4 is to be a serious aim.

The Capel rumours are still bubbling along, with several fresh media stories today. For example:

I seen a bit of Capel for Seville last/the season ended. He looked fantastic, pacey left winger with a good left good capable of getting goals and would always beat his man. From what i seen he had more to his game than Downing. All the Seville folk say that Capel on the left and Navas on the right are far superior to Reyes who went for alot of money. Of course Ramos will know exactly how good these players are so i guess any lad plucked from Seville by him is bound to have some qualities.

But I'm not sure he is the sort of player you would need. His delivery is very good, i'll give you that, but he needs someone to be constantly in the box. Just like Yakubu and Viduka were, or Alves and Mido are. Berbatov likes to drift about and none of the other players in that team can stick their head on a ball.

Which is why someone who is able to involve himself in the play would be a better option. Ramos will want to play a fluid attacking team so one dimensional players just won' work.

 Surely if you've been watching the Euro's you must have seen that fella play for the Germans before picking up an injury
He's been below average at best chief. A carbon copy of Wes Brown with worse positional sense and better crossing. We should aim for better players than him.
