Him being an idiot, and getting caught up in all the early hype about him.
He has gone back a step since his injury 17 year old Matt James has looked more impressive for the reserves lately. Possebon has the talent but looks to be lacking a bit of desire

Walter Crickmer started it all...
When Fergie retires and if we start going through a bad spell.....

.....I predict loads of muppets on this site will call for the manager's head rather than being patient and giving him time.

Wayne Rooney to leave United at around 31 after loosing his first team place. He will go back to Everton and be welcomed as a hero.

We'll see.

People are fickle. Imagine telling people in 2000 than a lot of united fans would hate beckham and spurs fans would love teddy.
Rooney kissing the United badge at Goodison Park - that would take a lot to forgive. Teddy to some extent still showed some loyalty to Spurs, particular with his dislike towards Arsenal.

Rooney has still said in interviews he supports Everton and he obviously hates Liverpool just as much, if not more now. Everton fans are a far more forgiving bunch than most fans, including us (who are very unforgiving IMO)...I think if he came back in 8 or so years. They'd welcome him like the Prodigal returned.

Well fair play to them if they do it. It's a very small club mentality.

In addition to mourinho to be our next manager I recon

1. Rooney will be out of sorts for more than 5 games when he comes back from injury

2. we will either (a) get knocked out by inter or (b) start fecking up in the league

3. rooney will return to form at the end of the season to either (a) fire us to the CL, or (b) score the goals to win us the league

4. we will win league or CL, not both

5. if we don't win the CL, chelsea will

6. benitez will leave this summer, to be replaced by mick mccarthy (ok mccarthy is a wish)

7. arsenal will finish 4th, edging out villa who will fade

8. Tevez will join Inter in the summer and be supreme next season

9. Liverpool will finish 3rd, keane will score against them

10. City will not crack the top 4 next season

11. hughes will leave either this summer or next

12. drogba will spend all summer talking about leaving but will still be at chelsea next season

13. arshavin will flop

14. hiddink will stay

John O'Shea will only make five sub appearances in the league next season.
Nani has a fantastic season 2009/2010. (For us.)
Villa will reach the champion's league quarter final next year.
Nevermind, lads.

Though this could be 4/4 by the time next summer comes around...

Arsenal will finish 5th

Adebayor will leave Arsenal in the summer

Fabregas will ask to leave in the summer, not get his wish but will be gone by Summer 2010

Real Madrid will sign Kaka in the summer

Manchester United well struggle to find VDS' replacement, much like we did with Peter...ie, neither PIG nor Foster well make it

Real Madrid well hire Scolari in the hope of persuading Ronaldo to join Madrid

Goggs and Giggs well make the same amount of appearances next year

Benzema well leave Lyon and fail to hit the ground running at whatever club he goes to

This year's Champions League final well pit Man Utd against Barcelona

Man Utd well scored more then 1 goal in their next game, they well win 2-0

*applauds*

(apart from the Scolari bit but hey, they didn't need him)

It's not looking good with Nani, but let's review it again in May.

I'm guessing the O'Shea one was that he'll only come off the bench five times this season. (He did so 12 times last season.) He's made three thus far, so it's still possible.

Tevez to be the top scorer in whichever team he plays for next season.

Chelsea to finish 5th.

Man City sign Ribery.

Chelsea to bring Mourinho back in the summer.
Close, but no cigar!

England to win the world cup, Rooney to be named best player or claim the golden boot and crown it all of being the World player of the year in 2010.

There, i just did it.

And I'm all out of bubblegum.
PIG to be the first team keeper for all of next season.

Giggs to start at least a third of the league games for United in 2011/2012.

Obertan to be a regular first-team player by next season.

Fletcher to keep progressing. Will be one of the very best midfielders in England, and will be recognized as such.

Neville to retire after this season, Scholes after next season. Both will join the coaching staff.

Berbatov to be sold to Tottenham or Sunderland for £17 million in 2010/2011.

Gibson will not make it at United, but will be a pretty good Premiership player. Will probably end up at Everton or Tottenham. Or Roma.

Liverpool will finish top of the table in 2016/2017, gaining promotion back up to the Premier League.

There. A bit random.
