Couldn't believe Bellamy. What a complete arsehole. I couldn't give a feck if some folk honour him for his honesty, it was just plain stupid. Yet again it confirms my belief that generally footballers aren't that bright

So of the ones I know anything about Wales only have one superior player. And he's a thick fecking cnut at that.

EDIT: Just realized. Shouldn't it be Hennessey(sp?) not Myhill?

ive felt like that after games, i dont blame him you just get caught up in the moment,

ive been playing in a cup match were we have been dominating a team, and some retarded winger we have lets them through for the softest try ever
i felt just like he must have then.

he should have refused to do the interview

Wales were twatted though.

"None of us have got a glimour of hope of qualifying", "We're just poor, to be honest"

It's about time we saw a national side captain speaking the truth.

 Thought that was a brilliant interview

He's an arsehole and a thick twat, but I do grudgingly admire his passion for the game. There's no worse feeling than watching your team get beat and wondering whether certain players even give a feck. Not that I've had occasion to feel that way about too many Utd players down the years anyway, but it is kind of refreshing to see someone like Bellamy basically put everything he has physically and emotionally into the game. He's a bit of a throwback - reminds me of what Keano said about the 93/94 Double winning team basically refusing to speak to each other after a defeat because they took it so hard.

As much of a dick that most people think Bellamy is a friend of mine had a job with West Ham at the start of the season doing fitness training for the first team and he said that the only player to go up and introduce himself and talk to him properly was Craig Bellamy.

He's a total arsehole for what he says about Johansson. The guy's got more international goals than Bellamy does.

But stupid at the same time.

Wales aren't a better team than Finland, not at all.

How many Wales and Finland games do you sit down and watch to know this? Did you even watch yesterday's game? I watched it and Wales were the better team, particularly in the 1st half - yet they lost... that's football for you.

Finland were very unlucky not to qualify for the Euro's over the summer, and were in a very tough group with Serbia, Poland and Portugal, and only finished 3 points behind Portugal and joint on points with a good Serbia team.

Wales on the other hand finished 5th in their group, behind Slovakia and Ireland, and 14 points behind Czech Republic.

And they're one point behind Finland now, despite playing a game more.

Just because they were the better team in the first half doesn't mean they are better overall.

I thought it was good to see a player saying what he really thinks and not peddling the same old garbage that most footballers come out with to the media after matches. You could see in the interview the genuine disappointment he felt and how the defeat and its consequences really hurt him.

On the negative side having a go at a fellow pro in Jonatan Johansson was unprofessional, however, it does give the supporters an insight into what players truely think of each others abilities and how they may speak about each other during discussions in team meetings, on the coach, etc...
I can imagine prior to the game the players said something to each other along the lines of 'if a player of limited ability like Jonatan Johansson causes us problems then we really are in trouble.' And so it proved to be the case.
