runs around like a headless chicken a bit like Tevez, can't finish, can't pass but does have a personality and that is why the fans will give him a chance
Oh ffs, here we go again.Berba was equally shite today. Did he had one shot on goal?

This actually is my biggest concern for all of these lads, obertan, diouf welbeck et al. All a level above the reserves and yet not regular first team players.Yes, you would be foolish to say he has no talent. He could potentially be a very good striker. But he's just so raw. We really don't have time for on-the-job training right now.
Why getting knocked out of the FA cup was such a blow for them. This actually is my biggest concern for all of these lads, obertan, diouf welbeck et al. All a level above the reserves and yet not regular first team players.
So being at that stage they will always put in some under par performances and will be liable to cost the team a few games. Dont know if we can afford that.
Obertan has the football brain I think but he cannot operate under any pressure. Maybe this is where the 'psychologically weak' ideas come from. He has the talent, but will need a lot of work to make him useful against anybody in the top half of the league. exciting talent though...You're all very impatient.
Obertan's shown an impressively graceful dribbling technique, a willingness to provide a spark and a very adept footballing brain in close areas.
Diouf's shown a willingness to stretch the defence every which way, a tendency to find himself in the right place in the box and a real enthusiasm for driving at the defence.
Helps looking at the positives when they're as young/inexperienced as they are.
He was decent when going deep but was as comfortable as the lead the line striker as Gaz would be in that same position.Oh ffs, here we go again.
You really are on another level of spasticity aren't you.Berba was equally shite today. Did he had one shot on goal?
Very well said, Livvie. Some of the comments in the match thread were just ridiculous.
You can't throw a young player into an important game like that, and expect a great performance when the rest of the team is a bit off.
Young players will thrive when integrated into a team that's playing well. Today we didn't play remotely well so it's really unfair to expect an inexperienced PL player to excel.
This is Manchester United, we're always going to be in this situation every single season. This actually is my biggest concern for all of these lads, obertan, diouf welbeck et al. All a level above the reserves and yet not regular first team players.

Good movement, good in the air, works hard. Its how you see it.runs around like a headless chicken a bit like Tevez, can't finish, can't pass but does have a personality and that is why the fans will give him a chance
Yep its really hard when you're playing against world class articles like Vokes and craddock. Some of the comments in the match thread were just ridiculous.

Do you think that Berba had a good game today? You really are on another level of spasticity aren't you.
Game changing substitution.Good movement, good in the air, works hard. Its how you see it.
So why should Diouf have been different from the rest of the United team then.Yep its really hard when you're playing against world class articles like Vokes and craddock.
What a stupid comment.Diouf needs alot of work.. if we could teach him how to play football, he'll be great.
Well in a sense you're right. Diouf was awful but before he went in we hardly had any shot on goal by our supposed lead the line striker.Game changing substitution.
Not talking about any particular situation or our current situation. Meant more like the fact we chase almost every trophy with equal endaevour, giving these lads a run of games gets hard regardless of the time of the season. Whether it be the start or the end and my concern is that this might hamper their development. This is Manchester United, we're always going to be in this situation every single season.
They'll be fine.
You were expecting better? I mean, Obertan has started here as the next Bellion and has already managed to turn into the next big thing, then back to the next Bellion. And he hasn't been here eight months! Some of the comments in the match thread were just ridiculous.
As it happens I thought he did well, yes. But that isn't really the point, this is a thread about Diouf but as usual you bring up Berbatov fromDo you think that Berba had a good game today?
I've stated it already that he was NOT the only player who played awful today. Stating that, if you play for Manchester United, then going against Wolves is probably one of the easiest games you will ever meet.So why should Diouf have been different from the rest of the United team then.
Trying to get a raise out of someone. What a stupid comment.
He also broke through their defence and created more chances in doing that then we had had for all the game. On a serious side of me now. Once his nerves calm and he finds his composure we will have a hell of a striker there. Start ranking him next season. Now for the other side. How dare you question the ONE!Well in a sense you're right. Diouf was awful but before he went in we hardly had any shot on goal by our supposed lead the line striker.
explain? to me he seems a great physical specimen who is very raw in his technique and general play outside the box. What a stupid comment.
Rio Ferdinand did.Do you think that Berba had a good game today?
We're Manchester United, we never make it easy on ourselves. Nice to see Diouf fitting into the team Mantra.I've stated it already that he was NOT the only player who played awful today. Stating that, if you play for Manchester United, then going against Wolves is probably one of the easiest games you will ever meet.
So you think that he did ok despite him hardly having one shot on goal? My point is in context with Diouf. Diouf was shite but he wasn't the only one. Berba was as effective as he was.As it happens I thought he did well, yes. But that isn't really the point, this is a thread about Diouf but as usual you bring up Berbatov from
nowhere and in no context just to randomly have a bash.
He wasn't even being discussed, but you're just too obsessed a tool to let that stop you, eh?
nice one. Great Joke.I would say Obertan has x10 more talent than Diouf.
I've stated it already that he was NOT the only player who played awful today. Stating that, if you play for Manchester United, then going against Wolves is probably one of the easiest games you will ever meet.
That's under-estimating a team that's fighting for its survival.I've stated it already that he was NOT the only player who played awful today. Stating that, if you play for Manchester United, then going against Wolves is probably one of the easiest games you will ever meet.
thats just shite. berba had a good gameSo you think that he did ok despite him hardly having one shot on goal? My point is in context with Diouf. Diouf was shite but he wasn't the only one. Berba was as effective as he was.
