I know it wasn't at Old Trafford but West Ham and Villa where both more physical than Arsenal have been tonight...but still not to sure why Arsenal have gone the physical route it isn't really paying off for them.

Well done he’s 13
Are they not allowed to tackle?
It's fine. However, using it as a complaint against any other team claiming that it's un football like and what not is just pure hypocrisy.

If you're gonna give it you have to take it. Arsenal give it, but complain about taking it.

So the complain is directed more towards Wenger (the manager) and not the team, no?

One can make the argument that hypocrisy/double standards is part of football, especially the manager's in their assessment of games to the media.

Wenger has done just more than just assessment of his team though.

Although expect Storey to whinge about the alleged nine fletcher fouls though.

Rio just evened out the stakes!

It's a tough match, it should be allowed to be so. Nothing to fuss about IMO.

If this was Arsenal playing at Stoke and they were getting this sort of treatment theyd be crying for weeks, disgusting, theyve clearly come out with the idea of kicking everyone off the pitch.
They'd probably have had someone break a leg and cry even more.

I can't wait to see Stoke rough them up next week. They deserve it after tonight.

Talking of that, how many fouls did it take before Song finally got a card?!

It's not just fouls. Webb played advantage at least three times after cynical tackles and missed another by Song on Fletcher.

They weren't that dirty, just outplayed and committed fouls as a result. Not that cynical.

Why do we care?

They tried to kick us off the park like they claim we do to them, and still couldn't manage one decent attempt on goal.

We should have won this by a couple.

Trying to show the world they aren't a bunch of pussies that are pushed around against physical sides.... just that they are doing it wrong and helping themselves with fouls...those wankers.

We care because Wenger is a hypocrite when it comes to tackling and they labeled Fletcher a "dirty player" for much less than what Arsenal did tonight.

Their yet bottom of the fair play league right?

Hehe, just seeing the Wenger interview now and he's blaming the bad pitch for the lacking technical performance. Is that why they had to play like thugs perhaps?

I think next time we play them we should just get Evra to stand in the penalty area calling them cnuts and sons of bitches, while making gratuitous signs towards Song.

Arsenal were probably not that dirty as such, but it was the worst case of team fouling we've been up against this season. I can hardly think of any of their players not having a useless go at one of ours. Pathetic, they looked like a Championship side, to be honest. They will probably celebrate losing by merely one goal. And, to be fair, they should.

FFS, it was a high intensity game with the winner claiming the top spot.
They gave some and took some. That was nothing close to some of the Arsenal teams of old.

They probably just think to themselves that they're tired of being kicked and bullied, so they're going to try and dish some out themselves.

Just when they try to do it, they still look like a bunch of pansies.

In the pub, a gooner complained that Arsenal players always get fouled (after Rio has done a Daniel San on Sagna), and seconds after, when the stats was shown that Arsenal had like 15 fouls (and United 4), he says, well, thats English football... The irony

You're having a laugh, right? Almost every single one of their players kicked one of ours, but they avoided bookings because they made sure to share the fouls. Again: most obvious case of team fouling we've been up against this season. The irony is brilliant. I am looking forward to peterstorey and the rest of them defending their approach.
