Calm down people, we should start judging after at least 5-6 games in the season.

I think its time to move to a 3 man midfield. We simply do not have the personnel to play a two or 1-man midfield and Bruno has shown repeatedly that he cannot be trusted to deliver in a CAM role when needed the most so its time for him to compete for a spot. Its also time for Maguire and Shaw to start competing for their spots as they have done nothing to deserve their spots. The line-up I would go with for Saturday is:

    DDG

    Dalot
    Varane
    Martinez
    Malacia

    Eriksen
    Garner
    Iqbal

    Sancho
    Ronaldo (if he's still here)
Rashford (Hauled off at HT if it's more of the same.)

Its time to stop indulging these absolute children and play who deserves to play.

I think Eriksen taking the ball off the defence is the way to go for now. So I'd pick Eriksen and push Fred a little higher in midfield.

Martial is the only player who can hold up the ball and link Rashford/Sancho so lets hope he is fit. But if not I'd be tempted to go with Donny in place of Bruno as the 10 and play Ronaldo again.

But generally United are just far to open and erratic, they play like everyone wants to get an assist or goal with every touch and win the game 4-2. Reality is they are just not good enough and a more pragmatic approach is needed.

Took Sancho out of my FPL which means he's nailed on to have a big game.

    2-0, Sanchy, Rashy

Our last 50 league games we are averaging 1.5 goals a game scored and conceding 1.4

    P50 W23 D12 L15. F77 A70.

The fact we have only won 30% of the last 25 games just gives me very little hope and reiterates the task on ETH hands as we are statistically getting worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if we are on one point by time the window shuts.

Something has to change and fast as this is one hell of a rut to be stuck in. No manager since SAF left has come in when we are this fecked as a squad.

People will say I’m overreacting but I just see no change in our fortunes anytime soon unless we get better players in asap. Lack of ability is the biggest issue, coaching can’t really change that.

    3-1 Brentford.

Eriksen starting as a CM is about the only change I expect to see to the starting lineup, and it's for Fred since he's the one that got pulled. Would like to see Garnacho get on much earlier if Rashford isn't working out.

That's whishful thinking, with that midfield 3, we are getting relegated surely.

Would love to see EtH make a statement by dropping some underachievers, and picking some younger players.

Bit worried about Martinez against Toney, as you know teams will target that height difference. Interesting to see how we will attempt to counter it.

I do think this formation is what suits our squad best. Doubt we will see it. I'd put Ronaldo in for Rashford, Malacia for Shaw. Wish we had an alternative to Dalot for RWB.

Martnez might be used as a Defensive midfielder if Varane is OK to play.

I am worried about the game though, Brentford surprised me coming back against Villa. If we have a other bad first half we could end up chasing the game in the second half again. You would hope after Sunday's poor showing the players will have something to prove and surprise us all.

You know what, we're not getting top four so I really don't care where we finish in the league. Assuming we don't get dragged into a relegation battle these games are not as important as Europa League and the domestic cups this season. I'm at the bargaining stage.

We'll win 3-1. Brighton are a good side (similar in difficulty to West Ham). People underrate them quite a bit because they can't finish for some damn reason.

The only thing Brentford have going for them are set pieces. So just assume they'll score one and we'll score a few.

    United minus the Glazers
Maguire and Lindeleof at cb. Lisandro Martinez should start at 6 and Fred 8. He’s better there than Bruno
I agree although has Martinez played in a 6 before at Ajax? Bruno should be on the bench for this one
