    Think Fred will be benched for this one. The fact that he was subbed before McTominay against Brighton who was on a yellow must’ve meant something.
    Eriksen outperformed Fred significantly in the deeper role.

    McT, Rashford, Dalot should be dropped based on the last performance.

    Eriksen deep and Ronaldo starts (assuming Martial is injured still). Another option is Eriksen for Bruno and bring in VDB, or Garner. As long as McT is benched.

    Garnacho for Rashford for me, but could see Elanga.

    Would be AWB for Dalot but he's barely featured in preseason, not sure if Laird will still be around? Probably Dalot keeps his spot.

    I'd stick Erikson and Fred on either side of Martinez.

    Garnacho, Ronaldo and Sancho up top.

    Bruno benched.

    Can you explain how do you imagine this working? 3 AMs, zero midfielders after a game we lost two goals and conceded xG of about 1,7?

    Something in the lines of 352 offer themselves at the moment, considering Erik has lost faith in Fred and Scott.

    Id move Martinez into the holding midfield position and bring in Varane or Bailey to partner Maguire.

    Id play Donny alongside Erikson in the middle.

    upfront it’s a toss up……maybe Rock Paper Scissors to pick who plays there…..

    I like the idea of martinez in midfield and to drop mcfred. I wouldn't have ronaldo and martial in the team just yet, I would go for garnacho to start with martial at top.

    Maguire isn’t getting dropped. Think Martinez as DM has some merits though, until we get a proper one in.
