The style of football is causing our CBs to be idiots leaving 20 meters between each other?You think things would be different with Smalling and Jones?
it's the style of football mate. We are getting outworked and outplayed by Brighton. Only one person to blame.
Will take drubbings like this all the way to xmas if it means Jose out. Just wish I'd put some money on Brighton, think it was about 7-1...I think all those players that play for Van Gaal should all go and see a psychiartrist so that the disease of passing back too often will be cured. Watching United nowadays is so predictable with at least 100 back passes during each game.
People just want to blame the CBs instead of seeing that these are the tactics our players are sent on the pitch with. When Bailly and Lindelof played with Matic last season he came deep to get on the ball all the time just like he did with Smalling and Jones. Pereira filling in the position is doing the exact same thing again. Thats how the manager has it set up and it wouldnt matter if we had a CB with Pirlo's passing ability, Mourinho clearly wants the DM coming deep to collect the ballWhatever pal
In a 2 man defence the CDM often drops deep to help with playing the ball. That doesn't mean the CBs can't play the ball. They are playing it finePereira no where to be seen also
Positioning in 6 is terrible he is a nice footballer when given space and time but that is all. Can not impose himself on the game at all.
Look at the state of our defence today. And Jose has signed half of them.
More importantly, a midfield with Fred and Pogba can't control the midfield against friggin Brighton? Mourinho's last few years really give the impression that he is past his best. This doesn't look a team that has been coached by one of the world's top managers for two yearsWhat is happening to us? What has gone wrong with Baily? You seriously cannot complain about a lack of spending power when you have a defense that costs over a 100 million. The entire Brighton 11 and squad barely cost that much!
This is down to poor coaching and poor player performances, not a lack of talent. This would finish 4-1 if it was an 'on paper' squad strength contest.
Most of these useless bunch were playing much better in WC. So obviously this is not the standard of what they are capable of.Bring Wenger in.

Only reason to blame him for that is if players have stopped playing for him in which case they’re as much to blame as him and would be small time if that is the case. When the manager can't get the team to outplay Leicester at Old Trafford or Brighton away, you cant put the blame on one or two players. Its a full systematic issue. Happens every single game. But this is much deeper than just Jose, its from the very top with the Glazers, Woodward, our Head Scouts. We've been shopping in bargain basement with the likes of Bailly, Lindelof, Dalot while City buy Laporte, Mendy, Walker. We are fast becoming the new Arsenal.Get Zidane in. Don’t leave it too late before another club swoops in. The players aren’t even playing for Mourinho. The effort shown out there is a disgrace. But our lack of any attacking plan is even worse. What do we work on in training? Clearly not defending.Absolutely awful performance so far, and that third goal was really unneccecary to give away. We are just like last season. Midfield completely overrun, right side nonexistent. Mata and Young have both been terrible and offer nothing what so ever. Bailly and Lindelöf are putting one of the worst defensive performances I've seen for the club. I'd sub both of them out if we had two defenders on the bench.
Hope we can do something in the second half, but it seems highly unlikely which is a damn shame for this beautiful club.So that first half was basically just more of the same of what we saw during the preseason. It’s as if he doesn’t know how to handle half of the defensive scenarios he’s coming across. Like he’s never experienced them before, so just dives in/hacks/runs out of position. Lindelof has a poor match 90% of the time he plays for us. There isn't single attribute he is better at than Blind while Blind is miles better on the ball and way more intelligent. Even Blind's weaknesses, Lindelof is even worse in the air and is a complete weakling too. He doesn't have a single redeemable quality about him.I'm starting to lose faith in Mourinho. We look absolutely awful. Our attacking display is terrible, our goal was a complete fluke.
Fast becoming a disappointment ? The guy has been a disaster from day one. He improved slightly during the spring-but now he is right back to being useless again.

If you put Lukaku upfront for Brighton he will stand out and look like their best player. Same with Pogba.
Put Young in their team and he'd look like their weak link.
This is the issue.Maybe Mourinho's back to his jolly old self, as has been suggested over the past few days, because he realizes that having the fans liking his personality is the only way to keep his job?
I just wish that higher-ups, if they are considering changing the management, are decisive and that they don't do like they've done for the previous sackings, ie wait until we're mathematically out of the top 4 race, which might come really early this season.No leaders on this team as i see it. Especially when playing away from home we need someone to step up. We can still get something from this game, but that requires a tougher mentality.When owners don't invest this is what happens. An absolute tragedy for United but completely predictable. How can the owners expect the fans to pay to watch this? Can see thousands ripping up their season tickets.
Because we don't do the basics right. It's all well and good having attacking players on the pitch but it's of no use if you can't play cohesive football and control matches. Which is a crazy thing to say given Mourinho has been here for over 2 years now.- Status
