    Anyone but Rashford
We'll need to be at it. These sorts of fixtures are where complacency can set in. We took a while to recover from the City loss at OT last season - Anything like that again and we could find our top 4 place in jeopardy.

    De Gea

    Lindelof Smalling Jones

    Valencia------------------------Shaw

    Fellaini Herrera

    Mata

    Lukaku Rashford
I really think Lukaku should be dropped but it's not happening. If Fellaini isn't fit we'll continue running Matic into the ground.

I have a bad feeling this is going to be a draw. I think the atmosphere in the dressing room must be awful after Sunday.

Not sure if we should rest Lukaku or not. I am pretty sure Jose will play him to get his confidence back.

    --------------------DDG-------------------
    Anto--Lindelof--Smalling--Jones--Young
    -------------Matic------Herrera-----------
    Martial ----------- Lingard ----- Rashford
    ------------------ Lukaku -------------------
    --------------------DDG-------------------
    Valencia--Lindelof--Smalling--Jones--Young
    -------------Matic------Herrera-----------
    Mata ------ -- Lingard -------- Martial
    ------------------ Rashford -------------------

It won't happen, but I'd like to see it.
Yeah, probably wont happen unless they change the rules.

We will struggle again without Pogba. Won't be a 4-0 walk in the park like some suggest.

Lukaku should not be 'rested', he should be dropped, simple as. Matic could use a rest, yes. Lukaku don't need any rest, he just needs to be benched until he transforms back to himself from Emile Heskey.

Matic should be rested. Lukaku should be benched and it is perfect time to start Ibra. I would prefer McTominay over Herrera.

We need to take out our anger on this lot. Zlatan and Mata should start from the beginning as they are the 2 best players apart from Pogba to help break down defensive teams. Confidence is low after the City defeat so I expect a close result. Going for 1-0.

I'm far from Lukakus biggest fan, but if theres any game he needs to be playing its this one. He's our number one striker and is going to be all season so we need him to get some confidence back. Not many better chances to do that than Bournmouth at home.
They will come and have a go, it should be an open game and I dont see why we cant win 3 or 4.

I really want Shaw to start, Young is not a LB.

And Lindelof now deserves an extended run as a starter.

If we had a winger I would be dropping/resting Lukaku and going with Rashford & Martial up top together.

The atmosphere of the game will be very flat but I think we'll win without much problems.

José won't drop Lukaku, unless there's something behind the scenes about his involvement in the bust-up. I think Mata will get a game at No.10.

    de Gea
    Valencia Lindelof Smalling Shaw
    Herrera Matic
    Rashford Mata Martial
    Lukaku

This is what I'd like to see most, with Pogba out, Rojo possibly out etc. Fellaini to come on at some point, along with Zlatan.

Lukaku will play and will score.
I believe you. But who will he score for?
Against Arsenal, he did a fantstic bicycle kick, towards our own goal, which DDG saved.
And against MCFC, he gave them an assist.

You think we will score 3 or 4 goals without Pogba?
out of interest, when was the last time we did this, without Pogba in the team - anyone know?

    This I agree with.
We need to grind out a result against Bournemouth.

This has to be the worst TV coverage of a MUFC League match I can recall

TV2 (and all other European providers) are only allowed to show the midweek games BT are televising. Was the same two weeks ago but you may have missed it because BT were televising Watford-United.

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    Valencia--Lindelof--Smalling--Young
    -------Herrera---------Matic-------
    Rashford--------Mata--------Martial
    ---------------Lukaku---------------

Subs: Romero, Jones, Blind, Darmian, McTominay, Lingard, Zlatan

Last chance for Lukaku, if he doesn't find his goal scoring boots in this one time to for him to be dropped and play Rashford or Martial as the number 9 for a few games

Jose and all players must get 3 points and I hope the players vent their disappointment by crushing bournemouth at least 5 goals.

Really, really hope Lukaku scores a couple here. The lads should be riled up for this, to prove a point and get back to winning ways / take out the anger against Bournemouth. We'll see how much spine they've got.

The Matic/Herrera combination worries me. Especially against a team where you'd expect us to have most of the ball. Herrera as the more attacking midfielder is just too safe for me.

The worry with Herrera is that Matic and Pogba have shown what true specialists are, and that he's in comparison not particularly great at any one aspect.

Hopefully with the next signings we'll be thinking the same of our full backs and right wing!

If Lukaku isn't going to score against the big teams, he better smash these small teams.
