Not asking for much today. Just need Leicester to win and us to win by four goals and we're back 4th.

I don't trust the players to perform against Chelsea today. It will be the same ones, who just don't care anymore.

I want them to keep losing.

Call it perverse but I worry that them rallying late in the season will earn many of our nothing players a stay of execution. Sick of them flattering to deceive every so often before reverting to their shitty norm.

    Fail miserably and feck off.

There isn't one player in this squad I can say it'd be gut wrenching to lose

    I would play:

    DDG
    Dalot
    Bailly
    Lindelof
    Shaw

    Herrera
    McTominay
    Pogba

    Rashford
    Sanchez
    Greenwood

    I expect:

    DDG
    Young
    Smalling
    Lindelof
    Shaw

    Matic
    Fred
    Pogba

    Rashford
    Lukaku

Hope Herrera makes it. Despite what may or may not have happened off the pitch we do need him out there today.

This is the players last opportunity to restore at least some personal pride. Either way though, it’s far too late to save their careers here, absolute disgrace to the shirt.

Same for me really, only DDG made that list but seems like he isn't the same and he's been here a long time anyway. Summer cannot come soon enough

DDG seems to have been left behind in goalkeeping terms. The one aspect that he was still indisputably the best at – shot stopping – now seemingly evades him, so we are frankly not left with much. People talk about having defenders who can play from the back but it won't be good if they gave a goalie who shits the bed every time someone passes him the ball. He's been a fantastic servant during a fallow period for the club but we really should think carefully before handing out a huge contract on someone who would appear to have some mental issues.

I'll be happy as long as we don't lose today. Top 4 is already gone and I just want this season to end now so we can start with the rebuild.

I hope we batter them and Sarri loses his job though, at least they'll be someone else doing worse than we are then.

So true and annoying. He never truly developed other aspects of his game other than shot stopping, his kicking is arguably one of the worst I've ever seen and he still struggles to be dominant in the air during set pieces.
I will always be grateful for his services but at some point we don't have to keep offering new and lucrative contracts. If we can sell him and reinvest wisely, I'm all for it.

I have no expectations of the hand today but will watch nonetheless out of sheer force of habit. Don't think we are going to make top 4, simply because the players look so disinterested.

When he first arrived, his kicking was miles better. He looks like someone who sadly hasn't looked to refine his craft as he's gone on. Lacking in true hunger and desire?

It also irks me that his mate is his goalkeeping coach – the prat who pops up in all his Instagram photos as though he's a player. Highly unprofessional state of affairs.

Ready to have your weekend ruined? I think win or lose I'll stay away from here after the game today. Even if we win 5-0 they'll be some nob talking about Solskjær being out of his depth afterwards.

I’m off work tomorrow so I really dont want to be in a bad mood tonight/tomorrow/rest of the week. I wish I was looking forward to the game but the truth I just want this season to end. Hopefully we can get over the line with a few wins starting today.

Agree with all of this, though I think Jose had a hand in the decline of his distribution. It was only under him that Dave stopped passing or rolling the ball out to defenders and took up hoofing it long. Ole seems to have tried getting him back distributing the ball properly, but alas Dave seems to have forgotten how.

It looks like Franz Hoek is sorely missed. A lack of professionalism on Dave’s part that the club has let him get away with.

This is why I've decided to stay from our players' social network accounts. I would get mad so easily

So you are suggesting he doesn't put enough training in?
Some players are more skillful with the ball at their feet. It is only been (over) highlighted now as he has made a few mistakes this season.

I had a complete social media cleanse in the last year in line with United being so awful. I decided that there was no need to exacerbate the bad feeling by following things on Twitter and Instagram, so I deleted my accounts. I pretty much consume all my football opinion on here which suits me down to the ground. Sick and tired of the players posting generic bollocks after yet another defeat.

Look up the situation with his current goalkeeping 'coach'...

Shocking that the club stands for it. Mind you, we are a soft touch so maybe not all that shocking after all.

Is that the same coach that has helped make him one of the best goalkeepers in the world for nearly a decade now??

I wouldn't go that far but i have been thinking they'll demolish Huddersfield and Cardiff like our early easy games under Ole and it'll be treated as some sort of rejuvenation.

If we lose today i think we have to play more of the youth and treat it as preseason to see if they're ready..

I don’t know the ins and outs.

I’m pretty sure that he has a mate for a goalkeeping coach while the club hasn’t officially appointed someone in that capacity.

Doesn’t seem right to me and people will clearly ask questions when DDG has been as shambolic as he has.

It’s only started to be highlighted in the last month, but he’s been crap all season truth be told.

It’s not like Emilio Alvarez is a bum though! He also is the club’s official GK coach.

He had a different coach under LvG and Chris Wood was the coach under Moyes, Eric Steele under SAF. His friend has only been since Jose I think. People keep saying his distribution was great under LvG's coach. Frank Hoek I think it was.

It’s not like Emilio Alvarez is a bum though! He also is the club’s official GK coach.
Here’s an excerpt from a MEN article from December 2018:
The MEN revealed earlier on Thursday all of Mourinho's coaching staff had left United with the exception of Alvarez, who had not worked with Mourinho prior to arriving at United in 2016.

Alvarez was drafted into Mourinho's first-team set-up due to his history with De Gea at Atletico Madrid, where he mentored the Spanish goalkeeper between 2009 and 2011.

Mourinho's trusted goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro departed United with the Portuguese this week and Spaniard Alvarez is now the outright goalkeeping coach, with Solskjaer flanked by the returning Mike Phelan and incumbent first-team coaches Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.
So it seems that when the actual GK coach buggered off with Jose, this Alvarez chap stayed on at the request of De Gea. The same coach seems to like fraternising with all the players on bloody social media which is just totally unprofessional in my eyes. Sounds a lot like the tail wagging the dog to me. Another example of player power.

It’s when you realise that Lingard is 27 that it becomes truly troubling. He’s the dictionary definition of a man-child. I know it sounds draconian but sack the fecking clothing line off – you haven’t won anything of note.
