Back to the team that were flying at the begging for Ole´s tenure. Matic Herrera Pogba, Lindgaard Rashford Martial.

Even shit teams break their bad form at some point. Remember how Sunderland were so shit in the league but pulled an incredible result out of their collective arse so many times.

Reckon we are almost as bad now, so we might actually do the unexpected and beat Chelsea.
Does this include the time they astoundingly broke the lowest points record in a PL season....before coming back to break their own record just for good measure?? :D

How likely is it that De Gea will drop another clanger from a long range shot?

Think we'll miss another open chance.
It's not beyond the realms of reason that we lose this comfortably...0-0 it against Huddersfield game raising, and lose to Cardiff for Ole jokes.

    Here's to a bright future! :drool::drool::drool:

Pretty much equally likely that we win all 3 by 10 goals each and Rashford scores 15 league goals over the next 3 and finishes as the top scorer

I really don’t understand the logic behind continuing to play a struggling keeper through the business end of the season.
The logic is that over the previous 5 years he's been pretty much the best goalkeeper in the world and is going through a bad run for a few months for the first time in that period and you just have to keep faith a bit and he'll come back fine. People are mainly causing a fuss to drop him because they assume he wants to leave. Who is to say that he's just lost a bit of form and doesn't actually want to leave, and just needs a bit of faith and patience and he'll be back to normal?

No Kante does help our cause a bit. He always seems to score against us.

We literally have one job. Keep Hazard quiet and we are in with a chance.

If we drop him, he goes. At least playing him will give us a chance of keeping him, albeit a slim chance...

Kante isn't playing for them? That is a massive boost

We are awful away and with the Europa semi in 4 days I'm not really expecting much from us.

That being said, 3-0 to Chelsea, Kovacic hat trick is my prediction.

    I see a drab draw.

I really don't see us winning this with our recent form and our terrible form at OT throughout the whole season.

Or it could be construed as us not dropping a player we intend to sell this summer because it wouldn’t look good.

I can’t for the life of me believe Ole even believes what he said yesterday.

I agree, seems strange to think of life without De Gea but I think we may have reached that point!!

4th still alive if we act like men and win tomorrow. Really any other result then we totally not deserve being in C.L next year.

I don't understand forums and their management tbh with you....that being said, how does a Chelsea fan end up Scout on a MU forum?! How much do scouts get paid then?!!

In other news, I met a real scout the other day, one for Stoke City...he didn't get paid. Just gets his season ticket and hospitality paid for.

I really don’t understand the logic behind continuing to play a struggling keeper through the business end of the season.
    1. That keeper is still a top WC player, and despite the recent consistent bs mistakes -- can still produce magic saves to save the day.

    2. Game is vs top team -- Chelsea.

    3. Alternative option -- Romero.
When's the last time he play again? Granted he's usually dependable, but he's not really a top level keeper, and can have his sudden off moments in game. Is he the type of player to give the defense confidence? don't think so. Our defense could even be more unsettle. Possibly he's not match fit (this is different than just available, players not playing in real games can have his "flow" messed up).

    4. What message is the manager sending to De Gea if he drop him for this big game? manager have no confidence in the keeper, and that'll make him more likely to leave -- why stay if your manager doesn't trust you. This is the worst patches of form for De Gea after a consistent 6-7 years or something. This is also the place and club where he was loved, no way with Spain NT, and big doubts other clubs will be forgiving of his mistakes and weaknesses. Drop him harshly and fans insulting him, and he'll understandably consider leaving.

A: De Gea is the better option, I wouldn't risk Romero for this game vs Chelsea.
If De Gea is again poor, easily next two games is on Romero, no problem at all.
League ranking is mostly dead-certain after today's fixture anyway.

    Cheers.

Valencia is also fit, but not joining.
So this is the first time after a loooong while all our players decided to be fit and available.

Full squad, difficult to predict starting 11.

Herrera McTominay Pogba midfield has to start, absolutely fecking has to.

    De Gea
    Dalot Smalling Lindelof Shaw
    Herrera McTominay Fred
    Pogba
    Rashford Martial
Not that I particularly want to start Martial, but even garbagetial is better than Lukaku, Lingard or Sanchez. At least he can scare full backs a little.

Hard to believe some are indifferent about whether we qualify for the CL. Sure, very slim chance we'd win it. But for attracting players, retaining sponsors, and all the rest its essential. And beyond all that the Europa League sucks. That Spurs song is right.

It's basically a bit of faith and belief in him after hes stuck with us over the past 5 years despite being the best in the world and us being shit, so hes earned himself more than a bit of slack.

Hopefully he can do a job on Hazard before he joins PSG.
