    - Keep De Gea in the team, doesn't need to rest, better than Romero and coming from a great game;
    - Rest AWB and Greenwood, they look dead on their feet;
    - Let Matic rest for West Ham, where we'll have more ball possession;
    - Don't start Lingard and Pereira, especially if Mata is playing;
    - Keep Pogba or Bruno to retain creativity;
    - Keep the Martial-Rashford combo, they're on fire and fresh and will probably hurt them as they usually do. Take them off in the 2nd half and bring James and Ighalo.

    --------------De Gea
    ------Bailly-Maguire-TFM
    Dalot--Fred-McTominay--Williams
    ----------Pogba/Bruno
    -------Martial--Rashford

    Romero, Laird, Lindelöf, Garner, Levitt, Bruno, Mata, James, Ighalo

    I would go with this but play Mata, James and Ighalo instead of the above front 3. The other option would be to play back 4 and keep Pogba in there. Fernandes needs a rest.

    We look knackered lately, so I'd rather pass on FA cup and have the best team possible for the prem. In August we will have another cup to play for. Get top 4 in the prem and then go all out for the Europa league.

    Unless we want to lose - Don't play Lingard or Pereira, don't play James on the right, don't play Dalot unless it's 3 at the back and don't play without both Bruno and Pogba

    Any talk of writing this game off look even sillier knowing we face Arsenal, not City in the final!

    Start Ighalo and Fred for certain. Romero will start anyway. Hope one of Shaw or Williams are back rested and over their knock.
    And then try and keep the rest as strong as possible I'd say.

    Yep, none of these. Fred, Ighalo should be the squaddies brought in.

    Sub in Bruno for Pogba, Martial for Rashford around 60min. Also give the likes of Jesse and James minutes later on when required. With Arsenal in the final, we gotta win this.

    Head on fellows!

    We needeed to win even before our chances of lifting the trophy became better.

    Against our old rivals - level the FA cup trophys - so much to play for.

    I know Ole knows this.
    He grew up in a Team fighting for titles and trophys against Arsenal.

    He's not gonna field a second string team and miss a chance of a trophy vs Arsenal.

    I didn't care that much about beaten chelsea tomorrow. That was before this arsenal win by the way. We have to win by any means necessary. I would rather beat arsenal in the FA cup final than win the europa league. City have really put us in a bind not beaten these guys.

    So so true. Cant have Arteta (or Frank) winning a trophy before Ole.

    We have a chance to win a trophy which could take this team to another level. I very much hope Ole and the players do not take this lightly.

    Maybe change of formation to a 3-5-2 to add unpredictability.

    ----------------Romero-------------
    ----TFM-Bailly-Maguire------
    Dalot-------------------Williams
    ----------McT--------Fred---------
    ---------------Pogba----------------
    ----------Ighalo------Rashford

    Bruno, Martial, Greenwood, Matic, James can come on during the second half to add freshness.

    If either or those two are given a start tomorrow it will prove Ole isn't taking this semi final seriously. Changes are required but make them like for like changes as much as possible.

    Ole has played Romero in every round of the FA Cup this season.
    Havnt we done that in the past and then gone back to de Gea? I’m doubting myself now though.
    I’d like to keep degea in but Romero is usually solid anyway

    Why the feck do you want to put lingard back there.

    the rest of the team looks likely, similar to sultans prediction

    It might be too late.

    I'd like us to start strong.
    You can add freshness later in the game once you control the result.

    I wouldn't want us chasing a result come HT.

    Start strong. Start the same team minus Shaw.

    Get them fired up from the go and then add mctom, Ighalo, James, etc...

    Im thinking similar.

    But I cant see how Williams plays at all. I had a similar deep cut on my eye a few years ago (hit by cricket ball while batting without helmut!) and it took a full week just for the cut to cover up with dead skin.

    The cut will split open first time he heads the ball, plus it will still be crazy sore.

    Im playing Lingard at Wingback. Im sure he will play and I cant think where else to play him. I'm giving AWB the game off.

    The team I'm guessing has freshness in every position besides Maguire, Pogba and Rashford and still looks a strong team. Width coming from full-backs with Pogba playing a more advanced role. Pogba came off early at Palace so should be fine for another 60 minutes and ready for West ham again.

    He's never played as a wing-back. Suicidal with Willian and Alonso in their ranks.

    It's crucial to start Rashford - Martial - Greenwood.

    Also crucial to start Fernandes. As is Pogba. And Matić.

    The back 4 and GK we can meddle around if we must.

    Okay, lets go for the win. Lets try to secure for the finals early and subbed off some of the first XI that started the match.

    Seeing Arsenal past through City makes me feel giddy a bit in winning the FA Cup.

    Nah he played the full 90.

    We have done feck all against arsenal in recent times but everyone seems so convinced that we will beat them if we manage to make it to the final.

    Exactly this. Sounds easy but but Lingard can do a job...

    1. At least one of Bruno and Pogba should play, so we can actually have a top playmaker.
    2. Pereira did fine against Chelsea in the first game though. Made an assist and workrate is fine.
