    I have a strange feeling that Laird will start and we are going to play 5 at the back.

    We have better chance of beating Chelsea than Utd so I’m hoping for a Chelsea win here. Then again a United v Arsenal game is more special and would be nicer to watch.

    - Keep De Gea in the team, doesn't need to rest, better than Romero and coming from a great game;
    - Rest AWB and Greenwood, they look dead on their feet;
    - Let Matic rest for West Ham, where we'll have more ball possession;
    - Don't start Lingard and Pereira, especially if Mata is playing;
    - Keep Pogba or Bruno to retain creativity;
    - Keep the Martial-Rashford combo, they're on fire and fresh and will probably hurt them as they usually do. Take them off in the 2nd half and bring James and Ighalo.

    --------------De Gea
    ------Bailly-Maguire-TFM
    Dalot--Fred-McTominay--Williams
    ----------Pogba/Bruno
    -------Martial--Rashford

    Romero, Laird, Lindelöf, Garner, Levitt, Bruno, Mata, James, Ighalo
    I'd play James as the RWB rather than Dalot, who hasn't played first team football in a long time. I think RWB would actually really suit James given his energy, and there would be more space for him. Would play Pogba instead of Bruno as the latter looks knackered. Would bring Matic back in as he got his rest against Palace. Other thank that I agree with you on this.

    If I was Ole, I would probably have gone with:

    De Gea

    Dalot Bailly Maguire TFM

    Fred Pogba McTominay

    James Ighalo Rashford

    De Gea instead of Romero cause he has not played in the competition, and deserves a medal too. Play Romero in the final if we reach it.

    Rest AWB, he has been bad recently, probably because he is tired.

    One of Lindelof and Maguire need a rest, I probably would feel more comfortable with Maguire playing considering the other changes in the defense. Maybe give to Maguire a rest in the second half.

    Take out Pogba and Rashford after 60 minutes regardless of the score. Depending on the score decide whom to put in. Martial and Bruno only if we need to score, otherwise put Lingard and Pereira.

    Give the day off to Greenwood. He is tired and has been overplayed recently.

    A mixture of first team players and reserves might do it considering that Chelsea will rotate too. The midfield is decent, the attack is competent, the defense is probably a bit weak, but it should do the job.

    I consider this more as a bonus rather than a game we need to go all in.

    Losing to Comeback Winning!
    We did get battered by Arsenal in the league fixture.
    Perfect game to get our revenge.

    Final, a trophy, and to a record of most FAC wins to equalised.

    :devil: Ole will remind the players about our previous loss and all these, they will be motivated to payback and have a great go!

    One thing that I trust about our current players is when they have something to lose usually pride, and when they lost previously eg. City wanting to celebrate winning league in front of us last time + the clown comment, Conte's Chelsea first season, Pool want to continue their winning run this season but we stopped it, the PSG game, etc.

    THIS, except I'd stick TFM on his natural right and put hopefully fit again Williams in on the left. Not sure about James either but I think pace on the counter is the way to hurt Chelsea. Who else though? Lingard. Usually plays better against big teams when we don't have the ball. Could see his pestering hurting Chelsea's rhythm. Would love it if Ole picked a team similar to this though and gave most of em a rest. They've had 4 days to prepare, we've had 2 and had to travel to London on one of those days. That, after travelling to London and back for Palace, then we have to go back again for West Ham, who will be fresh from 4 days rest with nothing to lose. Then back up to Manchester and down to Leicester to face a Leicester team that will have had 6 days rest to our 3 for a game we HAVE to win. With all those games and travelling, it would be nuts to put out our full first team. I don't see how anyone can disagree once they really think about it, semi-final or not.

    Not only is this a semi final but it is the 3rd best squad in the league decider.

    This game must be the priority now. We can beat West Ham with a weakened team. I want this trophy and I'm sure Ole wants too.

    totally disagree, this is a must win game, Ole has to put put his strongest available squad, we need to be taking this seriously, otherwise what is the point of being in it, City getting beat, means we have a very real chance of winning it, that has to be a priority.

    I'm out this evening so win or lose won't be around but wanted to wish you the best of luck.

    feck that, i hope every one of your players treads on a Lego brick this morning and can't run properly.

    No thank you. I wish and insist you the best of luck. You deserve to win the FA cup so no need to be so kind sir, the trophy is yours and Pulisic will tear us a new arsehole.

    100% Chelsea win.

    A slightly weakened team should be good enough to take on Chelsea with possible reinforcements off the bench. We HAVE to get champions league or no Sancho. Plus risking other players leaving. It's vital. The cup would be nice.

    Can't shake off the feeling that Chelsea are due one against us now. After so long of hating playing them because we just rarely seemed to beat them, we now haven't lost to them in six straight games (4W2D). Last defeat was in the FA Cup Final in 2018... We had a five year run at one point without beating them in all competitions.

    I expect this to be a tight affair, I'm thinking it'll be either 1-1 or 2-1 to Chelsea, maybe after extra time which neither side will want.

    Disagree with players leaving if no champions League, that won't happen.
    But we need to play the same front three, they'll tear Chelseas backline apart.
    Top four and the FA cup should be the requirements, anything less and it's disappointing.
    I'm buzzing for this game.

    There's only one United!
    Mike Dean is the problem in this match - loves Chelsea, hates United.

    Again totally disagree, Chelsea are a good team and under estimating them will cost us, has for no CL players wont come, again totally disagree, Bruno came !

    Who ever wins this game. Wins the FA Cup.
    I bet City thought the same last night. Arsenal can rest players and prepare for the final, United and Chelsea have 3 huge games coming before the final it won’t be easy.

    Wonder how Chelsea fans feel about this game, Do they want to play first team or want to rest few of the players and concentrate on Liverpool game.
