    Van Gaal explains unchanged team
“It was very difficult (against City), it was a must-win situation and we had only two days recovery, and when you give so much energy and so much willpower I think I have to reward every player.”

Yet he has also said because of the international break he would need to rest players. He talks out of his backside.

Looking forward to this game. Hoping you beat Everton, grown to very much dislike their fanbase.

I will never understand why he persists with playing Rojo as lb and Blind as cb? It's just his fecking stubborness again..

Ffs, why are they banging on about where Everton woukd be 'if you take away Lukakus goaks'?

    A) if you take any teams main striker out they'd suffer
    B) if he wasn't there it's not like they'd just play nobody, you can't just remove the goals and assume nobody else would ever score

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but I'm surprised that Tim Howard has been dropped to the bench for the last several matches. Did he make any big errors while in goal for Everton that resulted in him being dropped?

He's been pretty poor this season and now he's going to Colorado Rapids.

we shall see, if he was going to be sacked he would of been gone already.
I think the board have missed the boat, get top four and just get to the Final, I think the board will stick with him.
Not necessarily. I'd bet that Mourinho isn't able to take another job in England until the summer and they're either unwilling to give the job to Giggs or he doesn't want to be interim again. He won't be here next season.

He's been a disaster most of the season (and some of last) by all accounts.

OK. I did hear about him leaving. Haven't really paid attention to his performances this season.

He has been a complete liability.

Exactly what happened with us and RVP or us and DDG and conceding fewer goals.

    This manager is an idiot
    Why?

Wouldn't you have thought a young player on the fringe of the first team squad would have been busting a gut to show they were good enough to make the first team, instead of dicking around.

    Van Gaal was quite right.

Rashford to score first and to finish a draw 45-1 surely worth a cheeky tenner. Can see Rashford's pressing causing havoc with Stones so hoping for a decent win.

The story is that they were having a competition between them to see who could score from a corner.
What bastards! They should be banned from ever playing for United again!

Seriously though, what fecking planet is this turnip of a manager on? If this is true, then this is without a doubt the most ridiculous thing this total fraud of a manager has done. The term Pathetic doesn't even come close to it.

This is just my opinion but I'd hate it for Rooney to be the person to break Bobby's United record!

When we have special moments before a footy match, we always then seem to go on and lose.

Everton away in October was one of only two league games Daley Blind has failed to start this season. It may have been because he’s struggled against quick, powerful forwards like Lukaku and Van Gaal thought Phil Jones was better equipped to deal with him. Van Gaal hasn’t got any other option than to start with Blind today. He can expect Lukaku to sit on him for most of the afternoon. He’ll fancy his chances against Blind rather than Smalling, who can match him physically.

This was pilfered from the M.E.N.

no if the reports are right, he was having a competition with another player, in a game to try and score from a corner and I think that is wrong and the manager is right, thats IF THE REPORTS ARE TRUE.
But is that enough to cast a young player away and watch his potential rot away?

dont be so sure , not defending him I also want him gone , but I think he will see out his contract.
Everything currently points to Mourinho taking over. I'd be very very surprised if it didn't happen given everything that's been reported.
