Tyler was excellent after he came on. A fantastic block from him...DDG out of this world. ADM proving he is worth every penny of his £60m fee. Back 4 are becoming stronger. Everton goal was actually a peach of delivery...I couldn't see who was at fault. Maybe someone can let me know.

Decent team performance. We are on the way up, shaky but we are getting better and more confident at the back. Lethal going forward.

I think Valencia had a really good game in the middle, certainly better than on the wing.

OMFG De GEA !!!! Those saves were just out of this fecking world !!! Was this his best performance for United so far?
And what can be said about Di Maria, that lad is just incredible, Thank You Perez !
Finally my lovely Falcao scored too, Iam hopeful, this crucial goal against everton was only a start of at least another 30 goals this season :)

Tense last few minutes there. De Gea showed just how good he is though. Good win. Decent performance.

De Gea saved our asses. First half was an amazing team performance with Di Maria as a stand out player, second half the whole team, just as they performed great together in the first half, went anonymous together. We should have sealed this game up before the 60th minute, but I feel we did not fully realize the potential that we had today.

I was most positively surprised by Valencia, who first looked a bit lost in his midfield role but grew into it really well. Happy for Falcao as well, and for McNair, who had a very solid match. Expected more from Mata, who wasn't exactly bad, but for a player of his class who has to prove a point, I might have wished for more. LvG however deserves credit for our first half performance, which showed great teamwork and understanding.

Overall happy with the performance, we got three important points and look sharper and sharper every week. This is the kind of progress we were missing last season.

What a massive result. LVG needs to seriously sort us out at the end of games though.. that last 10 mins wasn't needed, as good as De Gea was.

He always out of his depth whenever he played for us. Still cannot understand why take Valencia and put him in
Valencia was very good today in a slightly more defensive role I thought.

Another great win for the lads. Like last week, they had to dig in the last 15 mins or so and we did, making some great blocks and some world class saves from David De Gea. As they say, these are the games that win you titles. This is not to say we're going to win the title, but a couple weeks ago I'm convinced we would have probably let this lead slip. We dug in as a team, and got the result. Great three points. Happy for the team. :D

Really did well. Although I was worried about the number of times he was at the end of physical tackles.
I know, I'd hate if he got injured again, he provides so much attacking threat down our right side.Hope Shaw is okay, he played very well today too.

Rafa was my MOTM at half time but De Gea stole that in the second half just as he did Everton getting anything from the game. Di Maria was outstanding, Valencia and Blind were good.

Excellent result, De Gea comes up with a big performance just when some people were starting to question his form.
Overall the performance was decent, some nice attacking. But the result was all important, Everton are always tricky and this allows us to go into the break in good spirits. Nice.
I was just questioning his form last night to my buddies and he goes and does that today :wenger:.

Really think this was a huge win for us. De Gea getting back to his best and Falcao scoring his first should be good signs for future games. Massive win.

I'm not sure if we watched the same game.
This. He led the back four proper, encouraging McNair when doing good and leading him. That's something that is priceless. He also has immense composure and plays the ball through midfield. That is also very important. Trouble we have has to do with not playing much together, plus lack of experience. But that comes with every match. So feck off all whiny cnunts. We will not win the league, but remember what we looked like last season, we should be thrilled to be back in top 4 with all our injuries. USE YOUR FECKING BRAINS!

    Thank you De Gea.

What a weird game. We were slow, Everton were shit until the last 10-15 min when they started playing faster and we saw how shit our defense and midfield is when the opposition have a right go at them.

I thought the Fellaini sub was ridiculous. As soon as he came on we turned to absolute shit. At least Valencia has pace and he was a help for Rafael. Fellaini actually did nothing.

Our midfield wasn't shit. Fellaini coming on completely ruined our shape.

What's problem about Rojo, he was playing decent and I see there people criticize him for nothing?

Thought lvg almost cost us the game. Awful sub. Mata or rvp had to come of for felliani. Go 442 and see the game out. Thought it was a bad sub

The difference is...we would have lost today if it was still last season, it's 3 points and moving in the right direction.
    True.

You hate to see three points saved by epic goalkeeping, but you take the wins as you get them. One day it's De Gea who saves us, another day it might be Rooney with a hat trick. Whatever it takes to get the win, within the confines of fair play, is what will do.

I hope we never see Fellaini play for UTD again, abysmal, sluggish, can't tackle, can't head, can't do F-all. We just turned to shite when he came on, our midfield went missing. He is not a CM, from now I hope Pereira gets his chance and it should be ahead of him.

DDG, Di Maria, Blind and Rafael were WC.
Rojo, Falcao, Shaw, McNair were solid
Mata, RVP a little of the pace
Valencia was too slow on the ball and to get forward.
    Blackett and Wilson were good.
Fellaini worst player on the pitch.

As expected, without Herrera, we weren't as fluid and quick in our game as we'd normally be. However, we were still alright going forward, and even if we were pretty stagnant for much of this match, we had the quality to get us through.

Valencia did okay in the role he was given. He wasn't expected to dictate the game for us, but he kept the ball moving, made some nice runs into the middle, and provided decent defensive support for Rafael on the left side. However, with Valencia, we were a bit light in midfield as Everton's players found quite a bit of space with Blind trying to deal with 2-3 Everton players in the middle.

Going forward, di Maria was the only dynamic player, and it is no surprise that just about everything went through him. Mata, for his quality, isn't dynamic and active enough in his game to be more involved, and van Persie is showing in each passing match that he's starting to decline, physically, though he still has quality in him.

Defensively, I'm happy at how assured we were. Yes, in the second half, we were poor at defending the set pieces, but, overall, I'm happy with our defenders' performances. Rafael was the best defender on the pitch with McNair doing very well against what he faced. Rojo definitely looks more comfortable and natural at the centre of defence, and Shaw, whilst he done alright, looks prone to a couple of errors, and that can be done with more match time at left back. Thankfully, the injury he suffered came at a good time, so he won't really miss out on too much football if his injury isn't bad.

Overall, at least we're seeing out matches, but we're not doing so with comfort. Good thing de Gea made some really nice saves to get us a victory. It's nice to see de Gea perform like this again where he can make some really nice saves to get us a victory. I'm sure we'll be better at seeing matches off as more matches pass by.

Agree with that. One can try to blame someone if one feels the need, but I think it was just a really great ball in that was hard to defend. Our defense did really well today, great to see.

Hope Shaw will be okay, he looked excellent today and another injury in defense would just not be welcome at all.

For me he didn't play well, he was out of position sometimes and poor passes as well. Supposed to lead the deffense but I haven't seen that from him today.

didn't understand van gaal tactical changes after 2-1 lead.
If he wanted to save the game, he need to change a striker with mid.
and WTH with playing fellaini, it is better to use fletcher than him.
