Hardly dull. We created 7-8 top class chances easy.Dull first half. Need to do a bit more in the 2nd, particularly in attack.

I agree with this. Rooney has had a decent game but as a #10 he needs to be looking to create chances, not just shift it wide every time. There was a particular moment in the first half where he could have played Martial through for a one on one, but just hit it out to the right wing like always - I swear he doesn't even LOOK at the rest of the pitch, he just goes straight for the bloody right wing.We are not really getting much from our attacking line. Depay seems to need too many touches to make up his mind, Rooney's mind is always made up to go wide even when the quick through ball to Martial is on, and Lingard is full of work but hasn't shown much inventiveness.
We really miss Herrera's quick passing instincts in the final third. The spaces are there we're just too slow. Martial is making very good runs on the shoulder but besides Schneiderlin nobody is trying to find him.
The midfield and defence has been okay but they are not really being tested. PSV would be delighted with a point. The onus is on us to break them down. At the moment we are not doing enough.
You lost me there.I'm such a weirdo. I was not bored, nor do I much care that Savage is there.
We've seen before Herrera can't play in a 2 man midfield. As much as I hate to agree with Gobby Savage he's right that Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin paired together is slowing our whole game down.
I suspect if Herrera had been fit he might have been playing ahead of Schweinsteiger
We've made some decent chances, but it's still mostly been a relatively uninspiring performance thus far.Hardly dull. We created 7-8 top class chances easy.
Are you watching this match in a parallel universe?Hardly dull. We created 7-8 top class chances easy.
Wonder how BFS will be against the pace of Leicester? As much as I hate to agree with Gobby Savage he's right that Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin paired together is slowing our whole game down.

I want LvG give a rocket up his...at half time and see if it has an effect. He really needs to be more direct.I think that would be a good move.
Do not see any movement from Depay. OR put him center and move Martial wide.
Is this satire?Hardly dull. We created 7-8 top class chances easy.
Any particular reason why?No thank you.
You aren't going to tell your grandchildren the night @Ish thought the cell phone light tribute was for Luke Shaw? We're knocking on the door but PSV are defending well. We "should" have at least one goal but finishing hasn't been our strong suit this season. We'll get the win but none of us will tell our grandchildren where we were when we beat PSV on this day.
I phase him out, and don't really listen. The other commentator has a much better voice, and speaks louder and better. You lost me there.
Agreed, Martial had a couple good chances, Lingard had a really good chance, Rooney had a good one, as did Schweinsteiger whom was incorrectly ruled offside. We've made chances while giving them almost no chances, thought we had a pretty good half.I need to go back to not bothering with match threads. I enjoyed that half.
His positioning could be better maybe, but that's probably the difference between playing a secondary striker in the '10' role and someone like Herrera who's more naturally a midfielder and possibly has a better understanding of where Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger want him. He has put in some good balls though that deserved better from the other attackers and his general play has been decent in my opinion. His positioning has been appalling. He's offering no help whatsoever to the midfield.
Schneiderlin has been screaming for him to come short all game.
I agree with you. Sometimes they do talk nonsense but who cares? It's a game where people kick a ball on some grass.Don't understand all the hate pundits like Savage and Owen get, and never will tbh.
I think Savage has actually made a lot of sense in his commentary.
Have a feeling LvG expected us to be up already at half time. Then bring on Fellani at 60 mins...which may happen anyways.Wonder how BFS will be against the pace of Leicester?
If yesterday's Suarez played instead of any of Memphis lingard or martial here we would be 3-0 up at the leastAre you watching this match in a parallel universe?
Same here. We've been great, just missing the final touch.I guess i am watching a different match than many others here, because i think we played good.
Some good movements up top and Rooney has been quite good.
Only the goal missing, but that will come.
From Earth 2 most likely. Are you watching this match in a parallel universe?
not really a disaster. But we really should win this.Draw would be a disaster here. Can't let it happen.
Why am I not surprised you aren't happyIs this satire?
I've certainly seen this opinion posted a few times but can't recall what games it's based on? Don't remember any particular games where he showed himself up thereWe've seen before Herrera can't play in a 2 man midfield.
Fair enough then yeah I can see your point.IMO would be better as we're camped outside their box. Lingard otherwise is fine so far.
They're slowing it down because our attackers are standing about 40 yards ahead of theme. Only Lingard has made runs of any real quality and interest. Maybe Martial once or twice. As much as I hate to agree with Gobby Savage he's right that Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin paired together is slowing our whole game down.
I suspect if Herrera had been fit he might have been playing ahead of Schweinsteiger
Which one this? Can't remember genuinely.Agreed, Martial had a couple good chances, Lingard had a really good chance, Rooney had a good one, as did Schweinsteiger whom was incorrectly ruled offside. We've made chances while giving them almost no chances, thought we had a pretty good half.
