    Heaton
    Wan Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw
    Casemiro, Fred
    Antony, Bruno, Garnacho
    Weghorst
Good chance to rest Eriksen and Rashford then with the 2nd leg vs Forest coming up we can rest a few more in that one. Hopefully we'll see Sancho coming back as well

    A complete B team please

Fred, Mctominay, Weghorst, Pellistri, Maguire, Lindelof, Malacia etc are all full internationals, they should be able to do a job.

I think we can have a front three of Wout, Garnacho and Pellestri in this game. I'd go with a midfield of Casemiro, Fred and Mctom.

Don't care if it's a league one side but that combo of Mc/Fred with Lindelof/Maguire makes me worry. I'd rather we go for a decent side, maybe with Mainoo/Pellistri thrown in, for this game and this lot of players for the Forest game.

I think you can go to Liverpool as long as you don't act like a whiney twat with a chip shop on the shoulder.
Yeah remember that wild celebration in front of the kop in 1999 when he equalised to make it 2-2

Could be reading this totally wrong but sounds from recent Erik quotes that Sancho is a little way from full training let alone playing

Even if we rotate, we will need to win this game so I would not play the like of Mainoo, Iqbal at the same time.

Rotate a lot for this game and again against Forest on Wednesday to give some of the first team players a good rest.

    ------------------------------------------------Heaton-------------------------------------------------
    Williams----------------------Maguire-----------Lindelof-------------------------Malacia
    -----------------------------Mc Tominay----------Iqbal--------------------------------------------
    Antony---------------------------------------Fred--------------------------------------Garnacho
    ------------------------------------------------Elanga----------------------------------------------------

Aside from rest, this game should be used to play squaddies into form and give youngsters a taste of professional football. A number of the rotation options should be desperate to play 1st team football so putting on a domin display should be paramount for them. We also need to build confidence and make them feel like they have a serious role to play. This game isn’t just about rest; it should be a squad harmoniser and proving ground.

Having said that; it is likely to be a tough game if our starters don’t feature, but not one we should be losing.

Last thing United need is a reply…so go strong and put the game to bed by halftime!

Then sub 5 outfield players during the second half.

It will be a strong side with our next match being the 2nd leg of a tue we have practically won already and ten hag will not want his players having too long of a rest before we are back playing a league game

Can only see 3 or 4 changes max.

Possibly Heaton, Varane (given that he was rested midweek), Fred/McTominay and Garnacho to come in.

The game for rest is the second leg of the League Cup.

Rest players?!? It is the FA cup, no fecking resting players. Forrest is the game to rest players.

    Gea
    ObiWan Varane Licha Shaw
    Cashmere Eriksen
    Bruno
    Antony Weghorst Rashy

    McTominay Iqbal
    Pellistri Bruno Garnacho
    Rashford
Solid defense, give Iqbal and Pellistri a start. Have Bruno, Rashford, Shaw there. Score some goals and then sub Rash for Weghorst, Pellistri for Elanga, Bruno for Sancho.

Hope we play a strong enough team to beat them without too much trouble. Ince deserves to lose, and we don't have time for a replay.

EtH stating that Sancho could feature tomorrow in the match....would be great news for him and the club to get back to playing and hopefully contributing

DDG (Why change the keeper and needs work on distribution still
Williams Maguire Lindelof Malacia (AWB is only fit RB and it would be nice to give Williams some game time who can do a job against the team who have the most goals conceded away in championship)
Fred Mctominay (Good enough again for this level of football
    Sancho Pellistri Garnacho
    WW/ Elanga
(I'd share the game time between both as feel both can play a part here)

"but I think tomorrow we will have a strong selection for the game" -ETH

I can't tell if he is just talking up as a confidence thing for players he'll rotate in or if he has decided to go strong after the 3-0 against Forest and rotate in the 2nd leg and hope to kill this off within an hour and sub players

Amazing how many would be happy to see us piss this game away. How short some memories are.

    We all love United
Some of the line ups posted here would be relegated :houllier:

It’s the FA Cup lads, play the strongest XI and sub the important players off when the result is guaranteed. Rashford had a nice 30 minutes rest on midweek but i think he should be the only one at home putting his feet up for this game especially if Sancho is back

    Just no and why ?
Its the FA CUP second to the PL
Strongest team is needed, Ince ( cock) will have Reading fired up, we need to put them away early and then rest some players.

Maybe but I’m thinking about the Barca games already. Losing against Reading would be dramatic ( but I think with the second string we can beat them as well)but winning against Barca could be a game changer mentally. I want the players 100% ready for that tie.

All arrows should be pointed at Barca now that our EPL challenge is over. I think we will get top 4 regardless.

Start strong against Reading. If we get a couple goals, sub some players off to rest them.

Against Forest, rest most of the team.

No point in throwing the Reading game. No guarantee we win against Barca with our strongest line up either.
