Miguel Delaney tweeted that same team as Saturday except Pogba in for McTominay.
That means Pogba in a two with Matic. No 4-3-3. Interesting but we need goals tonight and that's an attacking move. It doesn't matter if Sevilla score. Our aim is to outscore them and go into the game with that mindset.

Has Pogba suddenly agreed to pair Matic in a 4-2-3-1?

McTominay has really grown on me. The kid gives us a balance and stability that I love. If I would change that line up against Liverpool, I would replace Mata with Pogba and preferably switch to a 4-4-2 against Sevilla. But Jose hardly plays 4-4-2 these days so little chance of that happening.

Now people started to make things up.

This is one of the reasons I've always thought 0-0 away from home is an overrated result. Rather lose the first leg 2-1 or get a score draw. Unless we go 2-0 up early, it's going to be nervy night.
How is 2-1 loss better than 0-0?

With 0-0 or 2-1 loss, 1-1 draw means we are out.
    1-0 means we are through.
Any win means we are through.
2-1 win means we are though if it's 0-0 in first leg, or extra time if we lose 2-1 in the first leg.

Right so now you've made me even more nervous as this will obviously happen soon, given he hasn't been very good. Plus presumably he played in our shite out vs Bristol City in the CC, making this one of those 'technical' stats?
I was just trying to calm you down mate, sorry if I did the opposite. But I was also a bit serious. The whole team has actually a lot of good results this season and he has been part of that. The Bristol match was a meltdown but apart from that the results have been good lately.

Don't think it's a fitness issue, the guy's a beast. It could be the injury he felt in the last game, though. Anyone knows if it was the same he got sidelined for so long?
I guess it depends on what we include in bein fit and fitness. It is quite common to have inflammations etc that take a few extra days to go away, when you play an intense 90 min after a long absence.

Im really nervous about this game.
Think we will scrape through with a 2-1 victory.
Really hope Sanchez has a great game tonight.

I thought they were quite poor in the first leg, we'll up our game and it'll be comfortable.

Mind you as always nervous as anything can happen in a one off game.

Im expecting Mata to be dropped with some weird role for Sanchez where he plays as a 10 but drifts to the right as well.
    Either that or no Pogba.

I went for that too. A huge night for Pogba, time to see what he is really made of.

We just need to win, so simple. Meaning Sevilla has to attack aswell which will may play into Jose's game. We only get beaten once in 2 season here in Old Trafford. We should win and must be for the sake of insanity of United fans.

I wanna bet on this game to have lots of goals but you never know with Jose :D . I really think it will be an open game with us creating most of the chances but i fear once and if we are up 2-0 or something he will set the team defensively as he usually does... but if that means we qualify then so be it :P .

I see Lingard starting for this one and scoring a hattrick, so excited !!

Have absolutely no doubt we are going through. They might get a goal, but we will beat this lot.

That shouldn't be the case, they're probably outer 2 most naturally gifted players. They should be destroying teams together
Instead Sanchez drops deep to pick up the ball and occupies the area which Pogba would like to roam into.

We need an early goal. Can’t have an all too common shitshow of a first half knowing if they score in the second we’re done for.

So pumped for this. Going to get some work done in the next couple of hours. And, open the bottle of whiskey after that. Have been on a diet for the past 3 weeks but feck that. I'll be a nervous wreck during the game so am thinking better start early. A nice easy boring win will be thoroughly enjoyable.

Daylight saving time has this starting an hour later 3:45 here in the states. I only get to leave work an hour early today but looking forward to it.

I'm shitting it. I think we'll win but it may be nervy. We'll need to be 2-0 up before I can be calm.
Make that 3! As the Liverpool game showed, if they pull one back to make it 2-1, the ending will be heart attack inducing levels of tension. The problem with not scoring an away goal.

Big match, would be nice to be in the QF of the CL again. Come on lads.

Need to score a couple in the first half, ease the tension a bit. The longer it goes nil-nil or they score it will be very nervy. (Stating obvious but my nerves are already starting)

It really depends on the game. There have been matches when we were 2-0 up and still attacking -- and the opposition never looked like scoring. I think Burnley away last season was one such game.

If we play like that, and ideally we should as Sevilla are wank away, 2-0 would be stress-free. But nobody is going to say no to 3 or 4 goals before half-time, of course.

If u play Pogba in a 2...surely Alexis has to sit.... no?

We can’t afford to concede goals in this match. Alexis form been atrocious and he lost the ball 47 times against Liverpool. Jesse can seriously punish any Sevilla lapses here.

How can you call that Pogba position suitable, if he only played there for United once, Liverpool away last season, and he was s…?
Chuck a poll up and I guarantee you the overwhelming majority of this forum thinks playing as the most advanced of a midfield three is his best position. One game at Anfield a season ago is not a good measure of anything.
