We need to stop switching the play when it is not on to the left wing.. keep losing the ball. Young has been dire today needs to step it up

Our new signings looking brilliant, particularly Memphis.

And we have Batian fecking Schweinsteiger on the bench...soak that up lads.

And people were happy with Valencia, anyone else think Darmian never seems to be breaking a sweat?

    Yes

    No

I like the comments by Hoddle about how the players are not fresh and they're getting caught out from tackles/inteceptions, where if they were on it, there is space for them to run into otherwise.

I prefer these 'how', 'what if' than the rudimentary 'x does y' stuff.

    45+1 min

Free-kick to Spurs delivered into the box by Eriksen. It comes to Alderweireld but it's straight at Romero.

    Half-time

Spurs started the better side, much more comfortable in possession and created a couple of good chances to take the lead. They didn't take them and with their first purposeful attack after 20 minutes, United took the lead through an own goal from Kyle Walker.

Following the goal United have improved, threatening Spurs more regularly and having a couple of decent chances for a second goal. Spurs still a threat but United looking stronger.
I am absolutely loving Darmian

Memphis looks like he could be the real deal as well. He's been relatively quiet this first half but he always wants the ball and always wants to drive forward when he has it.

Wow, we really overpayed shaw. Guy does nothing. And 5 kg extra at least.

 Why does romero always have a weird clueless look on his face. Its like he knows a joke that he cant share.

Okay first half. Not too spectacular, but some decent play at times, even if we're arguably lacking some conviction in the final third. Spurs have looked very poor, though.

    Decent half.

Not convinced by Romero. Darmian has looked solid. Memphis has done well.

Sloppy from Romero? Seriously.. That backpass though, talk about putting the gk under pressure.

Romero is playing like a random guy we plucked off the streets and put into the goal

Darmian is a beast defensively. Attacking wise playing it safe.
