I would hope the staff have watched the Leicester game again and saw that they had about 5-6 set pieces and got a free header at goal on each occasion and have done a bit of work. Rojo had one of his Demechellis performances on Sunday... so will start. I expect Norwich to get one at least due to our away form being a joke. I think all in all it will be the same old unfortunately. Namely, frustrating, backs to the wall etc.

You can see Norwich getting a really good chance in this match and I think the difference between 3 points and 1 will be David de Gea

Fortunately Norwich's attack is terrible, we might smuggle a 1-0 win.

Manager says we absolutely have to win this game, which means we have to score goals but, it's a difficult match he says, so we'll setup conservative - probably with Carrick / Schneiderlin / Rooney when we should be starting at the very least Schneiderlin / Herrera / Rooney.

Probably end up with Mata on the right robbing us of any pace down the right.

I expect we will win this whoever we put on there but, not the way United should be winning against a poor team like Norwich.

    My starting XI would be

    DDG
    Valencia, Smalling, Blind, CBJ
    Schneiderlin, Herrera, Rooney
    Lingard, Rashford, Martial

If we are still needing a goal bring off one of the midfielders and put Memphis on the wing and play Martial/Rashford up top and really go for it because at this point we absolutely have to win our games.

I've actually gone for a draw here - hope I'm wrong, but with Norwich fighting relegation, I expect it'll be really tough. If we were at least consistent I wouldn't worry so much, but the problem is you never know what this team will serve up.

Presume you mean in the league? I can remember a certain unexpected London fa cup quarter final fairly recently!!

Norwich aren't as powerhouse as Leicester though.

Morgan and Huth are tough for most to deal with.

However, with Afro out, and only Smalling with any great aerial ability, we have to hope they don't get too many setpieces!

A must win, for there is still a lot to play for. We win the last three and City lose or draw to Arsenal and we nip them for fourth.

Really hope we put a big performance on for this.

There's so little of the season to go, and we're so close to completely rescuing it from at least a one season fix job!
Give Mourinho champions league football, and the recruitment job becomes that notch easier...

I know, I shouldn't do this to myself!

Norwich are absolutely dreadful. They've got nothing in attack, even less than us. Its going to be boring, but hopefully we can carve out a 1-0 win. Embarrassing that I'm hoping for a one nil win at Norwich, but that's what its come to!

Not winning against sides like this should be occupied with finanacial penalty for both players and manager.

We've won twice away in the last 10 games (since November) scoring a massive 9 goals in the process. 1-0 Norwich.

But the whole point of the "retrospective punishment is that "it was not seen by the referee" at the time of the game, so yes it would have been but that doesn't change anything really.
Doesn't mean you can't moan about refs missing it!

Everything is "very difficult" for Vangle, isn't it? I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, especially after the "It's easy to say we have to win, but it's difficult to perform" comments.

Poor old Vangle, he's being crushed by the incredibly unrealistic expectations of the fans that want their team to actually win games and score goals.

    A loser's mentality.
Anyway this is the type of game we'll lose or draw. Hopefully we can change that.
Just to clarify, my losers mentality or the one instilled in this team by our manager?

When will this season end and we can wrap up the damned cup.. and go ahead and make a decent managerial change regardless and move upward like everyother club in the world right now. This uefa cup final is also quite irritating view.

'outside of Manchester', just so we can discount the City win hey? Why aren't we including the Everton and West Ham away wins in the FA cup either... You could actually say we've won 3 out of our last 4 away games, but that would be positive. :)

Bout to head to work but we'll be listening to the radio. This has 0-0 with 3 shots on target a piece, us with 70% possession written all over it.

    Pick a decent team Louis

    ------------------------------DDG------------------------------
    VALENCIA---SMALLING---BLIND---------CBJ
    ------------------SCHNEIDERLIN-----------------------
    ---------HERRERA-----------ROONEY----------------
    MEMPHIS---------RASHFORD------MARTIAL

think Norwich have to win and we've enough pace and unpredictability to pick them off easily - if Rojo starts again I might throw something at the TV
