Tottenham have the worst full backs in the premier league : Danny Rose and Kyle Naughton. Hopefully Di Maria and Januzaj play this match

Is there a press conference for this or was the one before Xmas for both games?

Cant see us getting much joy down at WHL. With our shakey defence i can see Chadli and Lamela ripping us a new one. Getting scared

Subs: Rafael, Rvp, Fletcher? Hopefully Di Maria can get some minutes, and I hope we rest Wilson for this.

Could up being the battle of 2 goalkeepers... would be useful if Di Maria can make it into the side. I got a feeling he will suddenly become fit for the game. I am worried that we have not managed to beat Spurs in our last 4 matches and only got 1 point from them in the last 2 seasons. Still lets try and keep our unbeaten run going

Really feel like we should be cleaning this lot up, they look shit nearly every game and Eriksen saves them, I used to be confident of us turning Spurs over at WHL but after recent experiences, I expect nothing better than a draw, wouldn't be surprised if we lose... hopefully the fact we're a better team shows and I'm wrong.

I really think we might turn these lot over. They've been super lucky the last couple of games and hardly deserved the wins. Opposition fans will probably say the same thing about us but I feel that's more because of the on-going narrative about our "shaky defense" which really havn't been that shaky since Leicester. It is at the Lane however, although that doesn't count for much this season seeing that they have been much better away from home.

They've been a bag of wank all season so knowing us we'll either lose or draw..

Win will be massive due to the other top 4 contender's fixtures.

Two days ago it was "diMaria set to raise hell with Toon" and he sat.
I expect Shaw will start and I hope Herrera is ready, can Falcao do another 80-90 or will they put Wilson on? Is Rafael really ready or justRafael ready?

Aaarggh, let's just have the match today.

Clearly Spurs don't "have the worst full backs in the premier league". Apart from anything else, I doubt if either Rose or Naughton will start tomorrow: it's likely to be Kyle Walker and Ben Davies.

Kyle Walker and Davies are good. The other 2 are awful

    My predicted line-up for Spurs:

    ------------ Lloris
    Walker - Fazio - Vertonghen - Davies
    ----- Dembele - Mason
    Lennon - Eriksen - Lamela
    ---------- Kane

I never feel confident going into a match vs this lot for some reason. They turn up without fail.

We have been extremely fortunate in our unbeaten run, especially the results against everton and arsenal where i am big enough to admit we didnt deserve the three points. I can see our luck running out soon and tomorrow at WHL could be the day. If their the quality in their squad comes through then they could really hurt us. Lets hope we get the first goal and then we defend and pick them off the counter attack.

We've conceded 11 in our last 1260 minutes of football (averaging a goal conceded every 1.28 games), including games against Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, Everton and Southampton and you think we'll concede 3 against Spurs?

Lamela, eriksen and Kane are in very good form, depending on who we have back in CB for this game then yes it's possible. The thing with playing 3 CBs is we look shaky on everytime our opponent counters.

Even against Newcastle they countered us a few times quite easily. We just seem so wide open.

Lets hope Dembele is not selected tomorrow and they stick with Mason and Bentaleb. Not scared of their midfield at all. Also doubt if Lennon is available. Shame about Felliani.

ask the hotel clerk what their local nbc affiliate is. It is a 7:00 am start I believe. If not, look for a local Utd hangout there has to be one.

How many games will show us where this United team is at? I don't get it. Chelsea were supposed to be the litmus test, then City, Arsenal, Sotton and now it's Spurs. I'm very confident going into this game, we're a better team and that has to count for something.

The fact that the top three seem to be pulling away from the pack makes me confident. I don't know that we will necessarily challenge for the title but it still is quite possible. After a month of the season
I'd have been over the moon to be in third spot but we are and we still can't put our best squad out there just yet.
I think Utd ARE the better team at this point but is Falcao ready for another match so soon? Who among the injured will tough one out?
This could be a very, very good test for Utd.

Can't see too much change from the Newcastle game. Herrera, di Maria, and Shaw all have the possibility of being fit I believe, but would likely only make the bench if so. If we can get one of di Maria or Herrera on the bench I think that would give us enough to change the game in midfield if it's not going right. Without them, I think we'd have to start well and take a few chances on the break to win here. I'm torn between 1-1 or 1-2 in our favour, but I do think we'll at least keep the unbeaten run going unless Spurs pull an amazing performance out (or we're shite away again):

    de Gea
    Jones Smalling Evans
    Valencia Carrick Rooney Young
    Mata
    Falcao van Persie

Despite Mata's end product, I don't think he offers as much over 90 minutes as most of our other players (arguable point, someone tell me otherwise if I'm well off kilter here). Obviously, it's unlikely anyone else will be fit enough to replace him tomorrow, but in future I think the away games could see us operate with Blind and Carrick holding, while we let a front four go at the opposition with licence to roam in a way similar to Chelsea.

I also don't think McNair deserves to be dropped, but I think LvG will be eager to bring in Smalling as despite his carelessness against Man City away, he's probably been our best CB when fit this season - especially as the centre of the three.

    We're in Esch
Problem is they dont have any classic British/Irish pubs there, but your best bet would be the Urban bar, they normally show sport events on the british channels. It is in Esch-Belval though, a bit outisde of Esch in a new district getting build 7-8 mins away with the car. Otherwise, you will have to look around the city and find a pub, but most of them are Portuguese or non sports cafes, dont know if they have pay TV. The game is also on the german sky, and i imagine there are some cafes showing the Bundesliga games normally, so just ask if they could switch to the United game if it isnt on already.

We should be aware of Kane (and Erikssen) but IMO we will win this if we play the same XI (Smalling might come on for McNair but that's it).
Yes, Kane has been very impressive over the last few games, will need watching.

There is a Portuguese bar nearby which is supposed to show football, if they have Canal + Sport.
