Mata for Herrera, Jones-Rojo, one of Mkhi or Martial subbed off at 60'. That should be the plan right?

Or is it (surprise surprise) Fellaini for Herrera?

I think Fellaini playing vs Boro might have been a warm up for this as well as a rest for Carrick. Let's be honest, their only threat is Payet freekicks and Carroll.
Playing Fellaini against a team with the freekick expertise of Payet is probably not the best ldea.

Confident about this one. Normally dont relish the west ham game away as they always raise it and its been a grave yard for united teams in the past. But that was Upton Park which had a pretty intense atmosphere when we were there. they are not the same at home now.

All of the above dependent on no Fellaini off course.

Why isn't Lee Mason reffing this?!
He was so great the last match.

Hate the West Ham fixture. Anything better than a loss would be a surprise.

I'm a miserable when predicting a result for United :D
    Don't say I didn't warn you.
I'm very pessimistic when it comes to United - even during Fergie's last few years, but, under José, I've been optimistic going into every match recently. Today though, with no Bailly, Shaw and Blind, meaning one of Rojo or Darmian at LB, I'm not confident at all. Hopefully we start all of our best attackers together and go for the "we'll score more goals than you" approach. :D

The cup wins against West Ham masks how long we've been without a win against them

    14/15 A 1-1
    15/16 H 0-0
    15/16 A 3-2
    16/17 H 1-1

It's a wide pitch, makes more sense for Mkhi and Martial to start than Mata and Lingard today.

I just hope we take our chances early. We create plenty but our finishing has not been good. The recurring theme in our recent games have been we've been very wasteful in front of goals.

I just think we have a way to go yet and if we go a goal down (wich may very well happen) I'm not confident at all.

Every chance we'll lose tonight so people should realise this won't be easy.

tbf Dean's been bit of a good luck charm this season

2 wins in the 2 games he has reffed

    4-1 over Leicester
1-0 over city in the LC

But i'm under no illusions. He's a Spurs fan and with them playing Chelsea Wednesday a win by us and loss by them would put us level. But a loss or draw by us and a win by them puts them 5 or 6 above us.

Hull outplayed West Ham at the London Stadium a few weeks ago. Arsenal were very ordinary and still defeated them 5-1. The bigger pitch makes it harder for them to defend as a unit and gaps appear everywhere in their back 4. As long as we deal with their set pieces and are clinical with our finishing, this should be a comfortable match for us.
Past form doesnt mean too much as it showed many times this season

Another big 3 points needed. Tough to have 2 matches this close together but West Ham have to deal with the same issue. Will need to battle as they will hook balls into the box and will take some defending.

Come on lads, let's keep this run going!

Why can't we play our games when other teams play theirs?
Last game was the only game in a long time when we played at 3PM, with all the other teams.
    3PM start time would've been perfect. :(

I know that most people don't like Fellaini, but does this guy ever get tired?
It's as if he is always available to play and most fans dread his participation.
If we had 1 game every day for a week, he'd be available to play all 7 of those games.
