Jokes on you, didn't watch this game even though I had all the time to do so. Watching United is a chore.

We havent. We were quite close to City for half the season. Once they raced ahead after the OT win, we lost a lot of steam and motivation.
That was around Christmas time though. Been a hell of alot of games since then. The games such as Sevilla highlighted our lack of creativity, game plan and Mourinho's poor ability to adapt. This has a been a poor season, regardless of the points on the board.

He is disgusting. Football rules need to change. Just because a ref gives a yellow card, doesn't mean the punishment is fair.
Football is broken like that and nothing is being done about it. Wasting time on VAR and shit like that
Absolutely. It's such a broken rule. Noble needs to be punished for that, but he won't, yet you see retrospective 3 match bans given for much less if the ref hasn't seen it.

only maybe due to france being stacked. He will be an important player though if they want to win.
Not really. Mainly because he's just average for France in general. His last game was good but in general he's as underwhelming as he is for United. You could change him with another that you wouldn't feel the difference.

    So which one is it?

This team has done this a few times this year, some of those players did the same under LVG. I’m not saying that it can be fixed overnight but players have a job to do and they’re not doing it. Just punting another manager is like saying to them that their attitudes are forgiven.

Bring back the cane, I say, and the electric chair for the really lazy ones.
 can't hurt, but what wasn't working under LvG and cost him his job, Jose doesn't seem to be able to fix it either. I fear it is only going to get worse.

Serious question - did anyone actually enjoy watching our game. I'm losing the will to live watching this shite

Magic new anti-wrinkle cream. As worn by David Moyes. Warning: overuse can cause people to disappear.

All of the “how’s noble not been sent off” posts in a row is as bad as the ones that just say “goal” after we score. @The Mitcher and I might need to bring back brlrlrlrlrl if it carries on.

Anyway, sack Mourinho and bring in Klopp. Sell Pogba and buy Messi. Makes us wear green. Make us wear yoga pants. Do something of note in the summer that addresses the monumental shite that we’ve been playing for five years now. feck the badge tapping, feck the “biggest club in the world” shite and feck regional rice based savoury snack partners. Give us something to be proud of again.

Under Moyes I thought that our shite performances were due to the players no longer having a respected manager who wasn’t afraid to put the fear of God into them if they didn’t give their best every match, but most of those players are gone so what’s the excuse? Is the water tainted with piss from Ralph Milne’s personal collection or something?!

180 minutes without scoring, against titans such as Brighton and West Ham. Dreadful.
Jose will point out how much we have missed Lukaku, although he wasn't scoring either. He is yet to beat Zlatan's goal total this year.

agree to disagree i guess. France have a pretty good squad, but think pogba will have a good world cup and be a key player for them.

So you'd be okay with someone scratching your face or forearm smashing you just because it's during the game? No wonder football's full of soft primadonnas.
I don't know what to say. Emotions can be high during the game hence the reactions. I imagine Noble felt quite silly for reacting in the manner in which he did and may have joked about it after full time. Like I said, it is, at the end of the day, just a GAME.

What are you disagreeing with ? The fact that he's been average ? It's just the simple truth. I invite to read the reviews of all his game for the past years.
that you think he wont be key for france. i dont give a shit how he has been playing for united this season. Get him time in there with the world cup squad for france and get his world cup prep in and he will rise up. Give him a week or two away from this system and he will be around those who actually look to play footy and be fine.

I was talking about the reviews of his games for France not United. He has done feck all for our national team to make me think he will magically turn it up during the World Cup. My hopes rest on M'Bappé, Griezman

Noble's feelings are irrelevant here. What I'm reacting to is how our players let themselves be manhandled like that and then just joke around with the guys doing it. I guess I just miss Keane, Stam and Vidic.

    Idiotic comment
We finished the game with 6 defenders on the pitch which shows Jose was happy to leave with a point.

There was no tempo or fluidity to our play. Everything was so so slow and sideways zombie passing in our play as if we we’re satisfied to leave with a point against a David Moyes team. West Ham didn’t even need to break a sweat to earn that point.

games during the international break are different than world cup proper. As i said, get him out of manchester for a bit, let him get some full world cup training, and he will be ready to go. Mentally the time away will be key for him, vs just jetting out for a quick game or two with france.

According to Jose .It's because he is not in the World Cup and he wanted to give those players that are a chance to be at their best,
I'm JOse WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out right now. I didn't like him before because he was smug. Now I just think he's secretly lowering the expectations of Manchester United fans and I for the life of me can't figure out why he'd do that.

    Hating him.

Pogba laughed at him while he was doing it and laughed at him after the game. He doesn't need to waste his time fighting with jokers. Pogba handled it well.

Great question to David Moyes there: "Noble put his hands into Pogba's face, is that something you'd advise against?" Moyes: "Yeah..."

And like I said, there is nothing that makes me think he will perform significantly better (he was average at the Euro 2016 for instance) than what he is currently showing. For him it's simply a case of not trying to be a hero and not complicating things in order to play well but he just cannot help and I don't know what it will take for him to realize that. He isn't a superstar, he isn't a world beater. He is a simple player who should focus on keeping it simple.

    Bigtime.
We won't be finishing 2nd next season, either. There is going to be no magic overnight fix whereby our numerous problems, both on the pitch and the training field (Jose, I'm looking at you for the latter) are solved by a couple of new signings.
Exactly. There are too many holes in this team that even 2/3 signings will not be able to rectify. Especially when you go along with Mourinhos way of thinking. He plans to keep Young, Fellaini amongst others as key players. I just give up at this point. It's not like Man City last season finishing behind Chelsea. They created more chances than anyone. If you actually watched their games last season they battered teams but couldn't finish games off and then gave away cheap goals mainly from mistakes. This was rectified with new fullbacks and more ruthlessness infront of goal. With us it's difficult to pinpoint areas like that which can be rectified with a few signings in the summer. People look at being in 2nd and assume all is good but the reality on the pitch tells a different story. I'm quite worried for what might be coming. There is a lot more uncertainty heading into next season which is why I don't have much expectations. If we're lucky we may have another good Cup run but we'll be found wanting again in PL and CL. Hope to be proven wrong of course.

All these people defending mou finishing 2nd as some awesome achievement. If we lose fa cup final we are essentially spurs of last season without the attractive football. Prob the same people making fun of spurs last season for being happy they were 2nd

Not a lotta love for Mark Noble after his pseudo-hard man bullshit with Herrera a few years ago, but boy, didn’t he look a length when he bounced into Pogba tonight?

Not the most exciting game I've ever attended but glad we got the clean sheet. De Gea deserves the Golden Glove.

Thought Luke Shaw played very well. He should have played more games this season.

I like Lindelof at the back. Great on the ball, just a shame we have to pair with him Smalling when we have Bailly.

Sanchez was poor, didn't do enough playing up front. I thought Mourinho was a bit slow with his subs. I would have liked to see Martial or Rashford go up front. Rashford didn't make much of an impact when he came on.

Slightly nervous about the FA Cup final now. We're lipping and looking a bit flat.
