I don't even rate Scott and going forward should never be more than a squad player but feck me he's still miles better than Matic and Fred.

Pleased for him. I remember that goal he scored in preseason a few years reminded me of Lampard, and one earlier this season for the reserves. There’s more to come from him and he looks at home in the shirt now.

He was the only player who did well.
Fair play to Scot he had a decent game. Not a 9/10 he's dragged us through the mire Keano game. Not a game that woud've stood out in a functioning XI. However, amongst an absolute shower, he was the only one who looked like he should be a cog in a Man Utd machine. Made up for the kid for getting his first United goal too.
I thought he was really good tonight, hopefully he'll get plenty of playing time between now and the end of the season.

Should play for that reason alone. One of the only lot of this bunch with a bit of fight about him.
Shouldn't be overlooked that we need 2 new central midfielders but I'd rather see him as a squad player ahead of Fred or Pereira. He looks more polished, more of a physical presence and there is greater maturity in his play. Might become a starter in a couple of years but we should take our time with him and Dalot. They aren't good enough to start week in week out yet but they certainly can be.

My MOTM. He has quietly improved and been a very steady option.He knows to do the basics well, even if his passing is not the most expansive, a better option than Matic or Fred for sure.

Best ive seen him play tonight. Made him our motm. Good goal and could have had a 2nd. Looked well up for it and could well be the replacement for matic if he keeps it up.

This young man deserves my apologies and respect. Honestly I thought he was great in terms of intensity and will to affect positively the game. He should start most games, he brings the right mentality.

His attitude and mentality are what you want from a water carrier in the team. You look at how weak and lazy some of our other supporting players are and despair.
