Can someone explain what has happened with him? When he first came, he looked our best CB with the right attributes however after some injuries is not even in the first team squads? Surely he can't be that bad?
He's been injured - I think Ole said he's returned to training now.

But even when he's been fit, he has hardly been picked, it was just he was very impressive when he first joined, looked the real deal.
I agree I would like to give him another season to improve. I'd rather he stay with us than Smalling or Jones.

Injury prone, poor passing, poor in the air, reckless and rash. We are wasting our time with him.

He has been :

Bailly = 14 goals conceded in 7 league starts.

2 goals conceded per game overall.

Started against Arsenal x1, Liverpool x1. Thats 2/8 of our big matches in the league.

5 goals were conceded in those 2 big matches in the league.

2.5 goals conceded per big game with 2/8 big matches played this season.

He got some chances this season and didnt do well enough. So now he has to wait for more chances to show he can consistently do better than his previous poor performances. He's probably capable of that but he just hasnt played well enough to get many more chances than hes had.

Lacks the mentality. Rumours of bad personality and bad performances. Will be sold along the other bad Apples.

Biggest disappointment this season for us. Never available and in form when needed.

If we were really ruthless Jones, Bailly and Rojo would all be gone. Two CB’s signed and Tuanzebe returning from loan. In reality, only one CB will be signed and Rojo sold.

Braindead footballer.

Ole has been punished pretty much every time he's taken a chance in him.

He had the right attributes but lacked consistency and composure, and with his injuries never got chance to develop it. I can't see him recovering his career here but a fresh start will do him wonders and he'll probably get one this summer. He actually has some resale value unlike our other underperforming centre backs.

I think there is a good player in him under the right management. Not sure Ole is the guy to get it out from him though.

Confidence seems gone and he need to be supported to turn it around. Don't think United right now is the environment to do that.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

He has been that bad.

When Bailly first joined us he had that good two or three month period where he looked very exciting. He also had another good month later that season (but even then Rojo was playing better).

That is literally it in terms of consistently positive performances. Outside of those two periods, he's spent the entire rest of his time here having a great match one week and then an absolute shocking match the next week. And when I say shocking, I mean performances that makes Phil Jones' worst matches look good. And the longer Bailly has been here, the worse his performances have become. It's got to the stage where it feels like he's having three or four terrible matches for every one good one. Combine that with having a worse injury record than Jones in that time (which has probably played it's part in his incredibly inconsistent performances), and it just looks extremely unlikely he's going to come good here.

Very rash and thinks he is much better than he actually is. Not good enough. Sell.
I get how this could be said about forwards or midfielders (e.g. selfish play), but how can a CB give this impression?

We have 3 defenders who are exactly the same. Jones, Bailly and Rojo. All 3 of them, injury prone and can have a game or even a couple games in a row where they look the business, then 1 or 2 things happen; they get injured or they make a stupid decision that costs us.

He was injured when Ole arrived, came back got sent off and then after his suspension got injured in training. He literally hasn't been available for Ole.

Can’t really disagree with any of that but funny enough I also thought when we signed him and saw him over those first few appearances that we had a real talent on our hands. How wrong was I.

Agreed, although I think Ole has been harsher on him than others. Some keep their place no matter how shit they are.

Sounds like made up bullshit to me
That is the trend these days, people are throwing insults and snide remarks regarding people who they know sweet feck all about. Such claims need to be called out.

I agree. These remarks are presented as gospel truth in the absence of any shred of evidence, and are often repeated and spread by those with agendas without examination. Bailly has never been known to be a troublemaker.

He was the only centre back I thought was going to develop into top quality for us. Still think he is the only one with the ability to, but it just hasnt worked out for him here. Had a lot of injuries and as soon as he has had a chance again he has literally had a stinker every time.
I would sell him, Rojo and Jones too to buy in two centre back replacements personally as concerns me people talking of a partner for Lindelof when Lindelof is just so average himself and has so many flaws to his game. I just dont see Lindelof in a proper United partnership at the back like Bruce/Pallister, Stam/Johnsen. Rio/Vidic

That was such a typical Bailly match. You see all the ability, the smoothness on the ball, the athleticism, how well he moves, his competitive fire and you get to thinking how good he could be. Then a brain fade, ridiculous challenge, destroys his knee and no explanations are needed.

Rojo and Bailly must be 2 of the stupidest players we have ever had.

Had a good game until he started to make some more aggressive tackles. Him and Lindelof seemed calm and not stressed with the ball, but on the bad side, they didn't really make any pass to open up.
