I have a feeling this will be a pigs ear of a game, neither side will wanna lose. I’d say United’s starting 11 edge it for me at least. Need an early goal to open it up. I’d say United 2-1, Rashford and Pogba.

I'd take a 1-0 scrappy win. We're going to have to put out a very weak like up today I reckon, too many injuries and players not match fit due to internationals in the summer.
Completely agree, any kind of win is a positive today. We'll start properly against Burnley next week.

I selected Arsenal in GW1 of Last Man standing, so please don't lose.
We won't lose, but there's plenty of players out/ still not fully fit;
Kolasinac, Tierney, Holding, Bellerin, David Luiz, Ceballos, Torreira, Ozil, Pepe, Lacazette

At least a few of them are on the bench!

You're playing Steve Bruce's Newcastle. Anything less than a 3 goal margin of victory would be a disgrace.
I actually forgot Steve Bruce was managing them now. Does give me more hope

Also, worth noting that Willock has been excellent in pre-season. Excited to see what he can do with his chance today. I'm less convinced by Nelson, though he's the one who's gotten more hype (connected to the Sancho/ Germany connection?).

Feck me.

I should have done more research before picking you lot. I had 2 mins before the signups closed!

Willock does look very promising. I'd say he seems to be going under the radar a little with everyone hyping Nelson

I feel like there's gonna be a mini meltdown on here after the Leicester / Wolves match about how *insert winner* is so much better than us and will definitely finish above us.

Odds 10 on Rhys Nelson to score the first goal is looking decent now. People are underestimating Joe Willock and Nelson big time.

So 40 Mio fee for Newcastle striker Joelintlon and he has only scored 22 goals in the past 4 years! Ashley is going to regret not paying Benitez instead.

Which game to watch today? Arsenal could be a decent watch. But Leicester Wolves sounds like fun as well.
