Rashford put a IG post out during the summer with him and Jesse Lingard, saying how they made it to the pros. Citing a stat that only 0.0012% of football players become professionals.
Now Rashford is struggling so people are mad at him for putting a fact out there, that in fact both him and Jesse Lingard are professional football players. Playing for their national team no less. How dare they say it publicly!

Key moment for me was that Dalot cross that resulted in our only chance of the match. Mata makes a near post run, opens up the middle of the box. Pereira is running to the far post where the ball was eventually cleared. Rashford isn't even inside the box.

Greenwood is 17 and should be intergrated into a healthy environment. Not have a club the size of Utd relying on a 17 year because Ole sanctioned the sale of Lukaku and didnt replace him

Finally being called out by the media and fans who gave him such a big ego in the first place. It's a real shame it's after we gave him 200k a week because we are stuck with this loser for the long term now.

It irked me at the time, and I was shot down for saying this, but those interviews he gave at the start of the season saying how it was like the old United says it all, one result against Chelsea doesn't prove shit, losing one game and then making every other team regret it by winning the next 10-15 is what made us great - the mentality of these players stays alot.
He should have been told not to give those interviews, he doesn't know what the old United was like as he wasn't in that dressing room, and it's likely he'll never be a part of a dressing room like that.
It isn't just Rashford in fairness, Pogba and De Gea are the only players that deserve to wear United colours, the rest are not for for purpose and should be playing for Watford level teams (no offence to Watford).

Convinced he's got a knock and due to a complete lack of reinforcements we're making him play through it.

He's just a terrible player all around. Was put in a place he doesn't deserve. Should be a squad player minimum. Not entering the season depending on him as our main striker. Not helped by how selfish and arrogant he's thinking himself Ronaldo reincarnation on the pitch.

Yeah. I really take umbrage with people writing off Greenwood this early and in this atmosphere. All the excuses that get rolled out for Rashford are legitimately excusable ones for Greenwood.

Greenwood is 18 since a few days. Just play Greenwood... when Martial is out Greenwood is the best option as CF.
Can't believe I'm actually gonna defend Rashford. But he really doesn't deserve to be written off. This one's on the club for piss poor management of a decent youth prospect.
I still have faith that a humble Rashford, in the right setup can have a very good career at this level.
