Very good scoring from Mensur but will have to improve his doubling if he is to have a chance vs MVG (guessing he will beat Clayton)

Chizzy looks at the stage where he needs glasses/ contacts. Can’t tell what’s in or just below

GSOD starts on Saturday afternoon
Group H looks the group of death With Bully Boy, Asp & Durrant
BDO have 2 female players Lisa Aston and world champion Suzuki, can’t see them getting out of the group, Ashton has Chizzy Jamie Hughes and Cross, Suzuki has Price, Thornton and Dimitri

Not sure about the format. The PDC/BDO mix adds something, but you get loads of dead rubbers and once you get through the group stages it's ultimately the same as every other tournament.

What a cluster all round. I can't believe the cameraman misses Smith's double shot for a nine darter, then Smith blows the bloody leg:houllier:
Cameramen/ spotters are getting worse and worse, the amount of doubles they miss because they just have the camera on the player’s face is ridiculous.

It was Sky that missed, not ITV though, so more weird. Smith is fast tbf and he'd hit two treble 19s in the first six darts, so was not doing the conventional finish, but it absolutely killed the moment.

Veenstra world no3 just hit scores of 45,44,42 consecutively. Looking like 9/9 defeats for the BDO embarrassing for them

Lewis from 1-3 down vs Williams showed some flashes of brilliance great to see him back with that desire and has a chance vs Wadey in the last 16. Disappointed with Aspinall last night and William O'Connor just froze tonight. All in all some interesting matches ahead.

Adi Lewis needs to settle down a bit, playing with to much emotion, has a bigger reaction to a 140 now then he did when he hit 9 darters, quite a few times when he hit a 140/180 gave it a big roar only to back it up with a sub 60 score. Again he found his old form when he needed it most to win the last 4 legs

I’m glad Lewis done Wade, he gives it the large when winning but is a sore loser. Wright and Smith to proceed tonight.
Was good to see Lewis back, but a lot of players would've been pissed at his histrionics. If Wade could've hit that second 161 it would've been amazing.
MVG will annihilate Lewis tonight. Think Price will edge it too, but hope not.

I've never seen darts like this. Price would have crushed anybody who has ever picked up a dart playing like this

Was like peak MVG today and long format too. He was obviously good, but yep defo a big contender after that performance. Temperament was spot on too.

The year+ wait for a T.V 9 darter is over with (unsurprisingly) MVG hitting it vs Lewis. Merv King playing as well as I have ever seen him play beating Cross 10-4

No love lost between MVG & King then  damning words from MVG about king’s moaning being bad for darts
