Don’t think so. I remember reading here that Ole has actively kept him away from the media to help keep him focussed only on the football.
No doubt, he's been man managed and protected very well by Ole. Maybe even a bit too well, as I wish he would have been unleashed earlier in the season.

Every time he gets a sight of goal around the penalty area I expect him to score. He’s an absolute joy to watch and he’s only going to get better.

By the way, it was also his individual brilliance that started the attack that lead to the penalty.

Does the kid have a song yet?!

I was thinking of Pete Wingfield - 18 with a bullet.
He's 18, and there's a bullet coming out of those legs...

Instead of eighteen put mason.

Saka is literally the only bright light in the soulless void that is life as an Arsenal supporter.

This kid will be our all time top scorer if he steers clear of major injuries

Absolute quality

Not surprised that kids like him and Saka are thriving in these closed door matches ,must feel like the reserves with less pressure
He wasn't playing as frequently but he's also scored a few in front of packed stadiums this season

Always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside seeing academy lads that we've followed over time breaking through

I get the same feeling whenever Rashford, McSauce and Williams are out there too

Been nuts to see how in the span of 4-5 years we've had 2 absolute gems of attackers come through in Rash and Mase after what felt like forever since we had a real top talent at the forward positions under Fergie towards the end of his run.

Only a matter of time until his picture gets added to the wall at Carrington.

Just imagine this lad was playing on another team? How much would teams be willing to pay? 80M at least special special talent.

If you’re listening to this song
And you think your defence is strong*
Well feel the heat
Greenwood can score with both feet

*bit shit

Aside from yet another brilliant goal, there was one pass he played on the counter where he played a long ball over to the opposite flank to Bruno that was such a beauty.

If Sancho comes, where do we put him?! I just want to keep seeing Greenwood
On the left, Martial up top, and Greenwood right where he is. Rashford will fill in when we need him to, especially against the high line tippy tappy teams whom he always seems to destroy.

When he shoots from 20 yards or closer you just expect back of the net to ripple. When it doesn't its such a baffled feeling, like playing a computer game and wondering if you've put the cheat code in correctly
I know what you mean, when he dribbled through the heart of the defence and shot I was basically celebrating already only to be shocked at what had happened.

Kane is a brilliant passer though, which is for some reason overlooked by many. Consistently picks out tough passes from deep with great technique. I don't think we've seen the tip of Mason's passing abilities yet and he has ages to develop but to say it's already on par with Kane's is just untrue.
Maybe my sentiments at work or I haven't paid attention to that part of Kane's game, but I don't see him as being brilliant in that regard. What I think is that he has the composure that comes with experience and confidence. Perhaps I've been looking at him from "Eriksen's" lenses. My view on Greenwood has also to do with his peformances at the lower levels. Not quite easy to notice with the likes of Gomes, Garner and Levitt around.

Remember A thread last season discussing him as apparently he had no burst of pace:wenger:

Phenomenal talent!

Needs to cut out his trademark knee slide celebration though. Read somewhere that Ole injured himself with his knee slide celebration after his injury time winner in 99.

Hopefully Ole has a word as he's a star in the making!

We all know greenwood can play very well. I think the biggest question is what’s his fifa 21 rating going to be? If he continues in this form in the FA cup, Europa League, and EPL, he has to get at least an 82 rating, right?

He was tearing up the U-21's/18's and scoring for fun and it seems like he's starting to do the same in the pro game against grown men, kid really is different gravy.

I think the fact that he's being managed by a former striker like Ole instead of someone like Jose the way Martial and Rashford were, will go a long way towards him continuing to improve and get better given there's a lot of mutual trust there, justifiably
