Chelsea don’t half do some great business at times. It’s beyond annoying. Havertz and Werner and they’re set for almost a decade with Ziyech and Pulisic already there as well.
Like Morata and Kepa?

He seems to be fairly fit and doing alright for them. Been watching their highlights and he's getting decent game time as well. Can probably do a job for us coming into a settled and firing side but remains to be seen if he's willing.

More of does Ole want him back, rather than he can probably do a job.

Yeah, the guy that can't get a game for Valencia. Why should we be interested.
Played pretty much ever game this season, only games he's missed were due to injury or suspension and was Captain in their last game. Don't let facts over rule your opinion though. But we're probably not interested, just speculation to raise his profile.

That will be a hell of a deal for them if they get him for that price. Chelsea will definitely a major threat next season. They need defensive signings too though.
Yes as usual all the talk with the big clubs is of midfield or attacking signings and Chelsea have already made two.....but one thing weak in the premiership this season has been defending, only Liverpool have not been poor defensively, we have seen the effects of poor defending by English clubs in Europe this season. I think bar Liverpool one of the priorities for nearly every other big premiership club certainly including ours should be signing a quality centre back.

Definately no singing careers beckoning after any of this lot hang there boots up. Interesting to see how he develops there. To be honest, at this moment in time I am not bothered about us not signing him as think it will be a couple of seasons until he develops into a player of geniune quality and I think we may need reinforcement in that area before that time frame.....and we do have Garner to see how he does as well over two seasons.

Think in two years I may well have a very different opinion mind you

Pulisic looked a good signing and I think Havertz if it goes through could be a fantastic one. Interested to see how the other two do though as although they are both good players, I am not sure Ziyech will be great in the premiership and I know nobody will agree with me, I think in the current climate of not many good young strikers, Werner is over rated. Good pace, decent finisher....not sure he is going to be the hit everybody thinks he will though.

Is it 2013?
Haha that is what I thought, I mean hell he played in Fergies testomonial didnt he. Although he could be really sloppy and make big errors he did have huge ability and talent on the ball......we already have one of those players!
Have to say though, I cant believe he is still only 27

Surely want a title challenge next year, looks like they're spending close to £200m this window
The new signings might need a season to settle-in before they can mount a proper title-challenge, but really should be comfortably in third with this business building on what they have already. Very impressive signings on paper.

Chelsea seeming to be getting the right names in quickly. Probably know these players would go elsewhere in a normal window. Kudos.

Apparently Lampard wants Rice specifically for the CB position.
I hope not. Rice will develop into a top DM. Buying him for whatever crazy fee West Ham will demand only to move him from his best position is stupid.

I honestly think its because they know Sancho is United bound since they would have been right in the middle of negotiations and they know they need to spend big to keep up.
We could have 4 genuinely great sides in the league next year

He only became a defensive mid when he reached senior level. Was a centre back at Chelsea at youth level and not long ago either. I reckon Lampard knows the story.

I agree. His best position will be as a DM.
