That's a strange course of action to take. No wonder some on here feel like there's some moral lecture / crusade going on.

Anyway, MG looks like he'd take Rashy's spot in an instant in this match highlights video:

More intelligence and better passing. Would be fun to watch him and Garnacho switch up.
Unstoppable . Bar the fact he didn't have a shot on target.

Bear in mind he was playing a second tier team, I think people need to chill out.

No hate but if this is Unstoppable then Dan James was world class.

If United do bring Greenwood back, will they do a Burnley style movie rip off twitter vid to announce it? Wonder what movie they would use.
the pig scene from deliverance. greenwood the toothless simpleton, man utd’s decency and integrity playing the part of the squealing pig.

Obviously youtubers are going to use clickbait titles but I like what I've seen in a couple of highlights so far. Hope he lights it up against the bigger boys too, but he's definitely improved a fair bit despite his time away.

Dangerous Intentions. Not sure why. Maybe he reminds me of Donna Mills or something.

Having a decent game in the first half. Looks a level above all the players on the pitch. Sevilla doing decently well to block the ball getting to him but when it does he's showing quality. Not sure if the goal counts as his assist as Ramos got a touch on it.

We'd absolutely mental to not bring him back from a footballing stand point. This is 70m plus player.

Watched the whole 90 and it's clear he is levels above his team mates and regularly one of the best players on the pitch. What is so disappointing is how consistent he seems to be and how our players fail to do this, playing in a deeper role for Getafe but hugely impacting their play, carries the ball so well and regularly finds players with a cross, rather than just swing the ball in he is crossing to a player which seems so simple but our players rarely do.

He should be back to the team. He could be one of the best talents in the world.... That aside, he is by court not guilty and has learned from his mistakes (hopefully) and is fecking only 21 years old.......

Only way he returns and plays for United is if a new interview comes out with his partner giving more context, the club says there is a longer extract, as much as most fans just want him sold, if there is more information then let us hear otherwise he gets sold to highest bidder in Sumner, the irony is United fans want a 36 year old Benzema who has been involved in some pretty despicable things too, so much so he was banned from the French National side for a period!

agreed. i don’t think anyone should be vilified for their crimes until they are at least 45. up until then you really don’t know any better.

people make mistakes. let him play football. hes very good at that. get over it
He was beginning to annoy me on the pitch long before the scandal broke.

Don't want him back, too entitled and lazy. He's another Sancho type.

He’s basically the opposite of Antony.

-Dribbles past players with such ease.
- Decision making is very good in the final third
- Can use his right peg so effectively.
-Can shoot and score goals
-Doesn’t track back much defensively

Would have been an incredible career at United. But looks unlikely now. Hope he get’s another chance.

He’ll have a great football career wherever he goes.

He mightn’t want to come back . They may settle in Spain with no worries about the media following them. My Spanish isn’t the best but he seems to be getting no abuse on the stands either .

I know it’s bonkers and the conversations I’ve had all revert to “I only care about the football he plays”. At least some people are honest that they don’t give a crap about the morals and characters that play for us

I watched the Greenwood highlights above and all I was thinking was we’ve got fecking Antony instead of this  It’s literally night and day

Had a look at his Fbref report and the defensive stats absolutely diabolical. I know he’s a wide forward but he’s in the bottom 1-3 percentile of every stat. That really would have to improve if we were to bring him back.

Unless it’s all just tactical.

He made a horrible mistake but he deserves a second (and final) chance - he’s trying to rebuild his life and career and that should be back at his own club. We need to ignore all the social media noise and bring our starboy back.
