You just don't know how lucky we are to have him in our team.

The only one who can give a proper ball to Rashford and Garnacho.

The one who can work hard, the one who can stay FIT !!!!!!

If he was in this Liverpool side or at City he would be their main player, but we are always crying because he loses balls, he cries etc.

We are lucky to have a player to show something on the pitch.

When he'll leave to Saudi Arabia and we'll have Amad and Forson upfront we'll miss him

When we replace him with a 10 who can carry the ball under pressure as well as have creative passing skills we’ll see the evolution of this team

I did praise his work rate though  .
Praise through grumbling gritted teeth

I get you though, but I’ve seen Bruno be told to do so many jobs at United and he seems to be so professional and follow them to a tee (like CB yesterday), so I just struggle to see he does that without the manager being ok with him. He’d reel him in otherwise and Bruno would, as always, play accordingly.

Stop complaining about Bruno's moaning. That's his trait. He isn't going to change at this age.

Had a bloody brilliant game effort wise. Captains performance
Stop complaining about those posters' complaining about Bruno's moaning. That's their trait!

Fair cop  .

I do think it's not really his fault and he is well meaning by it and I'm sure the manager does tell him to press high, but it's the rest of the feckers just not doing anything making it look worse. That being said, he should know by now they're not joining in so should probably pick his moments better.

I've been to a few matches this season and that comment is not true, at least where I sit
My seat is right next to the TRA, which is where most of the chants start. The Bruno chant is more frequent than most. There is a guy who sits behind me who always shouts at him to get up and stop diving (which is a valid criticism to be fair) however I don't see anywhere near the level of hate that he gets on the caf.

When he comes over to take a corner at our end, his name is chanted on repeat. For comparison, when Eriksen or Shaw come over to take corners - they'll receive warm applause at best.

On the plus side, Bruno works hard for the team(which should be the standard not the exception), he is capable of defence splitting passes to release Garnacho & Rashford but how often?
He gives the ball away needlessly, constantly falls over looking free kicks which often leads to chances for the opposition and his dead ball delivery is erratic at best. His tantrums are the icing on the cake.
If, and it’s a big if, Mount can stay fit, I would like to see him get a run of games as 8 or 10, with Bruno sidelined just to see the difference it might make to our play.

Literally nothing about his personality or playing style suggests that he’s suddenly going to pack it all in for extra money. He’ll be at United for a few years yet and I can see him going back to Italy or Portugal afterwards.

He defo should play deeper. I think hes more controlled in that element and one thing is, he always looks to get the ball. By doing that, he has more options from deeper.

He was better when the game turned completely chaotic. You have to give him a lot of credit for the heart and work rate he showed today but more often than not we’ll lose or drop points if we ask him to play the positions he did today.

Great player, the naysayers are simply drama queens who enjoy moaning more than they enjoy supporting the club.

Chaotic just sums him up though so no wonder he improved.

Does anyone have a clue if he will be used by Portugal for their two friendlies? Damn, he could use that break. Not that he didn't play well yesterday, but you get the feeling that it will be too much at some point.

I don't think I can recall any outfield player we've have who's played such a large share of the minutes over 3-4 seasons. It's actually insane.

If anything it's more apparent when you watch it at the ground, his positioning and pressing is really a detriment to the rest of his game.
When you are at the match you see more of his random pressing, leaving gaps.

That's the template for us. When he played deeper he didn't just spray 40/50 yrd passes. He took care cuz he knew there was no chance we could stop a counter. So we kept the ball better, moved it around way way better. But that has to be our style every match, not just over the top passes from half line

If Bruno plays deeper then where does that put Mainoo and who plays advanced?
Obvious answer would be both him and Mainoo would be no.8s ahead of Casemiro or both mount and Bruno would be no.8s ahead of Mainoo. Either way I think playing with control is more important than playing deeper. The controlled approach helps everyone get up the pitch to create overloads.

I agree but control is a bit against Bruno's nature. He can do it but I feel like he's not that type of player naturally

I've got nothing against the interviewer going full fanboy here. You see it with scouse pundits brown nosing Liverpool players on the regular. After such an incredible game, they deserve to be given their flowers.

Yep. I noticed this disparity a couple of years ago. He gets his name sung more than any other United player and yet he gets slagged off on the caf in a way that's laughable at times. Ran himself into the ground again today but he'll still get called a bad leader who is a determent to the team. What kind of leader plays CB on one leg for 40 minutes to drag his team over the line?!
Because Redcafe has a disproportionally large number of moaning cnuts who are rarely content about anything

He still has a huge part to play in our future success and I welcome any player as selfless as him in our squad

He runs like a headless chicken, he has no idea how to close the lines, and he is second to every play, when we don't have the ball we play like we have 2 players in midfield because he is covering 3 players because he isn't smart or disciplined enough to cover what he has to.
Just ask Bernardo Silva if he has tatical knowledge about the game or no. If he wasn't doing what the coaches demanded of him on a tatical level why would he play?

There's a difference between having bad performances than spouting headless chickens or saying nonsense like he isn't smart to cover space. I guess he needs to learn with such an incredible smart and disciplined poster like you.

it’s just a lazy opinion that’s somehow spawned on the internet that he plays without discipline, like that he gives the ball away way more than KDB, that he only runs for the cameras, that when we lose it’s because of him and when we win it’s in spite of him
