He came in and kept the ball well enough, and United after he came on took the lead and then just managed the game. Pretty well I might add. Up until they lost their heads after the 95th minute, which had feck all to do with Rashford.
He was poor and looks like he couldn't give a feck. He's on 350k a week and looks like he wants to ne elsewhere.

He also didn't bother pressing several times tonight. He's a disgrace to the shirt

There's being an outlet and just watching on, too much he wasn't pressing and just allowing them to roam, he could've put a few yards on then go back to being available for an out ball. Seems he was in a bad place again, feels slighted by not starting.

I think Hojlund knew what was about to take place as he came off.

Go take a walk. He played for 20 minutes and did his job fine. Shit on someone else today, not someone completely unrelated to why we threw this away

It makes it worse that he is one of our own and obviously doesn't give a flying feck about the club and us fans.
If Erik is still here after tonight no doubt he will keep playing him regardless and not playing Amad for whatever reason.

If we are being really serious, besides the PSG rumours that might as well be planted by his camp, which European club would actually fork out the transfer fee and wage to take him off us, looking at his last 3 seasons as a whole?

We are stuck with him.

Came on and acted like he is freaking Mbappe or Messi, strolling around the pitch bereft of any hard work or effort.

No more words for the lad. Just wondering what is the excuse this time round - Girlfriend dumped him again?

Come on. He is trash this season and his lack of desire is annoying but he IS a very good player.
It’s a matter of opinion, not having a go at you, but I have never been a fan. Even when he was in his “purple patch” of scoring, the amount of games he cost us by refusing to pass or cross and spamming shots from angles. Any player at the highest level can have a brilliant game. A very good player is consistent in what they do! Every season he has large periods where he’s been lazy and idiotic on the ball. Only difference this year is he hasn’t had his purple patch.
Just my opinion. Have never rated him. Would not have got near the starting 11 in any of our top title winning teams. And I’m old enough to have seen them:(

Genuinely dislike him now. A shame as well because he's a local lad and has done some stellar work outside of football (or at least his PR team have). On the pitch he just jogs about without a care in the world. Absolutely disrespecting the jersey every time he pulls it on. I don't know what he wants to do with his life but his heart is clearly not on a football pitch any more. Is that harsh? Maybe. I don't need a world beater every game, I just need to see some effort.

Utterly bizarre, but this particular place has ultimately become where people can practice their Two Minutes Hate.

20min and zero effort. He has zero intensity and we look like a man down with him in the pitch.

Couldn't give a toss what he does from here on out, his lack of effort this season is unforgiveable. He'll always be a disgraceful sack of shit in my eyes. Anyone coming in here to laugh at posts like this when he next scores, you can feck off too

Funny that he's getting shit on for today really. The feck did he do wrong out there? He was there for 20 minutes, worked hard (even tracked back by our own corner flag that one time...), and did well to bring Antony in the build up to our 3rd goal. Nothing special, but he did fine and kept the ball well enough which was the mode we were in at the end of the game.
Thought similar... Not surprised to see it's the top thread though.

Not really. He’s had spells of good end product otherwise he’s average. Absolutely daft footballer to boot.

Tracked back once and made a simple pass. The fact his defenders offer this as him playing well says it all.

Everyone should remember this context when it's propsed he supposedly looks "world class" in a match. No other player of his standing and wage at a similar sized club, has the bar set so low. The lad has to walk into the pitch with each boot lace tied correctly and he's already had a minimum 7/10 game.

Antony did the hard work and won the ball, Rashford made a simple pass into open space, christ.

We were being completely overrun and he's jogging about not getting stuck in.

If SJR is worth his talk he needs to get rid of Rashford, Martial and Sancho.

They are the epitome of what's wrong with our dressing room and product on the pitch.
narcissistic and lazy players that behave extremely unprofessional and have continued to spread that toxic dressing room athmosphere that Pogba/ Lingard started.

He is a liability on the left wing, because he doesn't do feck all defensively and is not a creater offensively. All he can do is score goals, but he can't play/ doesn't want to play as a striker....
Selling him and his companions would be a huge relief and the long term benefits in the dressing room would be immense.
We can't make a 'loss' on him as we never bought him of course, so selling him for half his value would be ok to me, just to get rid of the lad.
Same with Sancho. sell him at 40% of his value if neccessary.

We need a fresh start with the right characters in place. Licha Martinez to be captain, Kobbie Mainoo to be vice captain.
Hojlund, Dalot, Garnacho as key players.

- Get rid of the bad apples
- Get rid of the mercenaries
- Take the captaincy and power from those who are unable to lead
- Build a strong winning culture in the dressing room, centered around a strong leader and professionalism

Same with Shaw, last year they had their odd good season. We should have sold with 1 year left on his contract. People were making fun on those who were claiming that we should have sold with his stock high.

Lets hope someone (PSG) will pay 50-60 millions for him now. But even then, I am unsure we will sell. New manager, academy kid etc. As always. And then we are in 2028 and Rashford is still here. And we will wonder why he is still here.

Worried about him. He’s barely breaking into a jog. Doing that weird shuffle. We had walking wounded players in the 115th minute against Liverpool showing more athleticism.

He’s a weird dude. Can’t work out if he doesn’t try as a feck you to the manager. Or if he genuinely thinks that’s what he’s supposed to be doing.

I’d rather he got his shit together and made the most of his talent here, but I can’t put up with that level of effort from any player at the club. Probably needs to go at the first opportunity.

How can anyone excuse that with a one goal lead in a massive game? I would even rather have Wes Brown on top that would actually give a feck!

When United won the Premier League title in 95/96 all the youngsters who were breaking into the first team (Nevilles, Beckham and Scholes) referred to the experienced players being the key in ‘carrying them’ for that season. Once more, United have some really promising youngsters (Garnacho and Mainoo being the most obvious) but this time the senior players haven’t delivered. Marcus has been playing for Utd for 8 years. As a senior pro he should be leading by example on the pitch. He is a million miles away from the level comensurate with his contract. Off the pitch, he should be absorbing the pressure to protect the youngsters. He has never matured sufficiently on and off the pitch.

Fergie got rid of Cole and Yorke soon after they had peaked or lost focus; Blackburn was their level. At present, Rashford would struggle to get into the modern day Blackburn equivalent. Saudi beckons provided he did not upset Ronaldo too much.

Even when he went on that run of goals….which is over a year ago now…he was having bad games but still scoring. Stats covering up his deficencies.

he’s an average player. Kick and run with pace, a good shot and decent skill. But his effort, game intelligence and decision making are on the floor.

You can have all the pace and skill in the world but if you constantly making stupid decisions and lack the intelligence to see things happening on the pitch…you aren’t an elite player.

I'm tired of him. I want him gone

The daily mail have a picture of in the build up to their 4th goal. 4 players pointing at Cole Palmer, Rashford jogging towards goal, not looking, and no idea who he was going to be marking

He comes on, fresh leg, does nothing in attack and can’t even be bothered to press or try to block the pass. And not for the first time this season.

I want him to succeed but his attitude stinks and there doesn’t seem to be anyone in his camp to help him change that.

I turned onto MUTV radio commentary and even they said he wasn't busting a gut to get on the end of anything. When your in house TV channel notice and mention it you are a bit of a waste of space.

I know what you mean and I've come to the conclusion that he genuinely thinks that's what he's supposed to be doing. Has to be levelled at the manager and coaching staff to as it's their job to notice these things and have someone on the touchline barking at him if we are just letting pressure build up from the back when holding on to a 3 - 2 lead. It is pretty maddening to watch though, it's pretty unbelievable at times, especially when he'd just come on with fresh legs.

Baffling whats happening. Hes clearly mentally not right to play at this level. Time to jog on, assuming he can manage a jog.

Pound for pound Antony may be the worst signing we've made post Fergie, but at least he works hard. Rashford should be benched on Sunday too.

Our attacking football flowed better with Antony tbh.
Yeah, I actually thought he was good after the penalty incident. Better than 90% of Rashford's performances this season anyways. He deserves the spot on merit now.
